trixie- did you ever take your DD into the dr? If not- I think you might need to.

They can probably give you something stronger for the cough.

I just made an appointment for 3:30 p.m. Of course it's our doctor's day off...but I held firm for my second choice.

Shelly- yay!!!! Hopefully they stay on schedule!

Trixie-- glad you're taking her in. Hope they can put your mind at ease.

Tas--- LOL-- I'm not ever gonna be the kids' friend. Mark is always the easy one on them -- the pushover. Well, until he's reached his limit- then yikes. Look out- cause it's allllllll over then.:rotfl2: Some butts are gonna be red.:goodvibes
as far a Tebow--

I had written a whole bunch about him, but I'll let you see with yoru own eyes why he is such an inspiration to so many--

Okay MAYers - I need your help! I am going to need a title for my TR. Any thoughts or ideas??? I am just not all that creative. :confused3 I know a lot of people get their title from something that happened during the trip, but I never seem to have a moment that sticks out to name the TR after. So, I MAY need your creative MAYer minds to help me!! :yay:

And I'm running out of things to talk about on the PTR. . . Not really much left to say about the trip at this point I guess! Any ideas there?

Have you posted menus and what you're gonna eat?????????

Did I miss that part???????

I have been reading over there, but not posting. Sorry.

I'll remedy it.:goodvibes

As far as your TR-- :confused3 I always get mine from something that happens on the trip. B/c there's always a story when I'm involved.:rotfl:

Hmm. . . no not really. That's a good idea. Maybe I'll do that next week. Maybe post where we will be eating "one week" from today and so on. . .

I know you always have crazy and exciting stories to tell!! :rotfl: I guess we just aren't as exciting as you!! Maybe this time something will happen that will inspire me for a title! :wizard:

Nah- you're plenty exciting. :goodvibes

Controversy just follows me. It's a well known fact. Mark often looks at me in the middle of a crisis and says-- "How do you find yourself in these situations??"

It's my own cross to bear, I tell ya.
:rotfl2:

Wheee..I'm so anxious to plan our WDW trip 1 1/2 years out, I went ahead and made a countdown ticker for when we'll go IF my nephew and nieces end up not coming.

Junkie r me!

I am a bit anxious about our upcoming trip to DL too. I'm hoping beyond hope that Eliska loves the characters and isn't scared on the rides and such. You get this picture in your head of what things are going to be like before a trip and I just hope that it doesn't turn out horribly.

I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing seeing as this child is so outgoing and friendly. But still, I worry.

I'm also curious, have any of you taken a child as young as 1 1/2 to fireworks before? We are trying to decide if we are going to take Eliska to see the fireworks on our first night there. That's the one night that the fireworks should be earlish (8pm or so) and would work best with her bed time. We could get her into bed only an hour late or so that night. Not a big deal. I'm just wondering if the loud noises are going to be a bit much for her or not.

Ah yes, it makes sense now.

Wow what an inspiration.:goodvibes

The part that wasn't said about Timmy was that when his mOm was pregnant with him, she got very sick with an ameoba (In the Phillippines while they were there in missions) and the dr's told her that Timmy would be be born with birth defects and he would never be normal. They told her to have an abortion and she wouldn't do it.

His Father would pray over her and told God that if He needed another preacher in this world to please give Timmy life and allow him to be normal.

And so there he is, affecting so many thousands of people. He is 22 years old and gave his first sermon at age 15.

What a neat kid.

Crisis averted! POR pool slide rehab dates are Oct 19-Nov 7!! Hopefully they will stay on schedule and open up just in time for us! :wizard:

:thumbsup2

I think we may have to do that with one of our cats. He's really taken to peeing all over everything and nothing I do seems to stop him. We are at out wits end.

Yikes! Eliska is a strong willed toddler too. I just know that the teenage years are going to be very tough. I've already told Jeremiah that the teenage years are going to be the years that he's the favorite not me!

The middle years are great! Some kids never give their parents any trouble. At tennis today, we were talking about how it could have been something so much worse.

I just hope he has his head on straight. :thumbsup2

Earplugs!!!!!! We still use them for loud things with Belle- we used them at the game this weekend. Find some kids ones.

Yay for the new ticker!!!

Good idea. I'm not entirely sure she'll keep them in though. It's a huge battle right now just to brush her teeth. She wants to be in complete control of what happens to her little body and she's only 17 1/2 months old! I could easily see her taking those ear plugs out and then trying to eat them.

^^ How about watching the fireworks from Plaza Inn Restaurant? It is behind the foliage and you can have a dessert too. Plus, if she gets scared or doesn't like the noise, the baby care station is right behind the restaurant and you can take her in there until they are over.

That's not a bad idea. Do you need to make a reservation for the Plaza Inn or is it a first come/first serve type of thing? I would skip the fireworks all together but my mom really wants to see them. And seeing as she's our free babysitter while we are at the parks, I'd like to let her do at least one thing she wants to do :)
