Thermostat over-ride????

Can someone please post the directions to over ride the thermostat. We are at Kidani and finding it very hot in the rooms!!

The themostats I have done this on: Push the power button and the down arrow button at the same time, holding them in until the letters 'bp' appear. This means you have bypassed the sensors. Set the temperature to what you like. You may need to do this once per day. Last year at SSR we did not have to reset it, but the year before at OKW we did need to do it every day. Hopefully Kidani has the same type of thermostats. Good luck!

I believe the "thermostat override" is only to override the motion-detector which keeps the A/C off when you are not in the room. If you must have 70-degree air when you first walk back into the room, I guess that might work.

I've also heard dancing the "Hokey Pokey" works.

My experience has been that no matter how warm the room is when I return from the theme parks, it cools off to a very comfortable temp in a matter of just a few minutes. We've done a lot of trips and never been uncomfortable.

I've also heard of keeping a balloon in the room by the thermostat.

The "bp" thing worked fine for us the time we stayed at SSR. We did have to do it once a day.

We never got hot at SSR, and it never seemed to be any different than our air at home, in fact some in my group complained it was too cold.

I was at Kidani in May and the BP thing didn't work. We just dealt with it. You can also call maintenance there and I was told they can drop the temperature for you. Apparently they get many calls for it.

We were at Kidani for 10 days just two weeks ago - we were unable to lower the thermostat below 68 degrees - I like it meat-locker cold - but with the ceiling fan on it was just fine.
