i need five new sets of thermals. Any recommendations? Will probably only need them for a week given we are staying south for most of our trip. The kids don't fit into their old ones and they're poly propline (sp?). I've only been to Katmandu so far. They have two for $60 for the middle of road ones which feel nice to touch. Still seems like a lot of money for such a short time.

I've bought ones for around $20 from Anaconda before now - some stores are having a 25% off at the moment. But admit it was a while ago as the last lot have now lasted us all several years.

I've considered shipping, but as they need to be close fitting it does help To try them on. We used thermals in New York and Orlando last trip. I packed all the cold weather gear last time then had to use them for the record January cold in Orlando. DH and I had merino wool but I found the pants itchy.

The cheapest ones don't breathe at all which makes it uncomfortable when indoors.
