Yep I did! I really haven't found a mix that is the same as Disney either. Supposedly, Disney uses
Carbon's Golden Malted Waffle Mix but I use it and it's just not the same. Of course it may just be the thinner waffles that my at home waffle maker makes.
50.00 for waffle mix? that's before they tack on the tax?!?! i don't think so!!! i am sure i will find something even if i have to doctor up a mix found at a store! I'll let you know if i ever find something close.
I can so relate at the moment. Eddie is on two different antibiotics so of course he is drinking more and peeing more. I was up four times with him last night! I'm so tired right now that reality feels a little blurry.
I am so sorry to hear about him.. I really am.. hate to hear about our fur babies not doing well.. Just know you are a FANTASTIC mommy to him and gave him a life where he is king of everything. Always here for you.
Glad I could help! The trolls are definitely lighter than the rest of the boxes.
LOVE THEM!!! why is this series SO CUTE?!?!
Fingers and toes crossed that the reports are all good!
i will get to this!!!
Tell me about it! I have four budget meetings this afternoon which I should probably get ready for right now. But I'm so close to being completely caught up on the DIS I think I will finish that first. Got to have my priorities straight, right?
HA! I hope you were able to get them all done!!!
Hi Mo! I'm finally back and getting caught up here on the DIS! We had a fabulous time and Miles was so great! He loved most things, but we hit a couple of serious bumps with Splash Mountain and Test Track! He loved Soarin and we did Magic Carpets of Aladdin 7 times! And Mickey bars every day with one day even two of them. He wanted to live there. Who doesn't?
awwwww I am so glad you all had a wonderful time!!!! i am sure he was just adorable!!!
I have to agree! who doesn't want to live there!!!
and with the new tv show named Miles i am sure you found a lot of cool stuff?!?!
Loved the pics of the midgets on the couch and then the newborn! Melt my heart! They are such great kids! You've done a wonderful job raising them. I'm glad they bucked down and did better with their school work. Hopefully today will bring great news for all of you. It's so hard to deny them, but as the Mom, you have to be prepared to do that and make it stick. Their futures are way too important not to, even though it hurts us more than them I think! You're doing great Miss Mo, so don't let it get you down!
Thank you so much!! I do love my munchkins.. and i HATE to be mean. They know i don't like it. They know it must be done.. it's strange how much they do understand only being 10.
I will update about grade at the bottom...
I know plans change a lot before our trips, but so far your plans are looking really good. I do like Rose and Crown. We've eaten there 2 or 3 times and have enjoyed it each time. Hope you guys like it!
I do too.. it'll be a first! i will be post the last day then my plan b and c soon after.
I guess I never mentioned that we finished the condo we were rehabbing and it went on the market the Saturday before we left for Disney. It ended up getting two offers and we signed electronically while in Disney and sold it!! Yay! Sold in 6 days!
OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am SO SO SO happy for you guys!!! This is EXCELLENT!!! great job!
So glad you are close to getting your car paid off! That's a great feeling! Now, if you just put that payment money away as though you were still paying on it, the next time you need a car, you'll have the money to pay cash for it. That's what Dan and I do and it's worked out great. Of course, we never did it while we had 4 kids at home, so maybe it doesn't work with a growing family. Just a thought! But congrats on getting it paid off soon!
i am way too excited about getting this car paid OFF!!! it's going to be so nice to have some money back,.and can pay OFF the trip!!! WOO HOO!
Okay, I need to get going, so I'm really hoping the kids' reports are good and that sets the tone for a great weekend! Enjoy!
Hi Mo! Budget season has me tied to my desk this entire month, but Chelsea is home sick, so I was able to catch up on one of the threads. I feel so accomplished.
you and Ariana both! sorry work is so crazy for you!
YAY you picked me!!! I hope Chelsea is feeling better?!?!
When we first moved to this place, I was surprised that the elementary schools do not give grades. They find grades can damage a kids self esteem. (Yes, it is a feel good, pot smoking, hippy type of city). So, she does her homework and if she gets a Meeting requirement, we are good. Grades do start next year though. I am not looking forward to that.
WHAAAAAA? no grades? ohhh yeah that hippy dippy way of learning.. I know of a couple of kids in that magnet schooling.
unlike you.. these parent's are WEIRDO's like god forbid you tell the kid NO.
then wonder why their kid is running around like a NUT without discipline.. I feel sorry for the kids when they grow older the real world doesn't play by those rules...
Your plans look great so far. I am not sure what I think of the Avatar expansion, but that video did get my heart rate pumping, so I guess I am a bit excited to see it finally done.
I am telling you it's going to be AWESOME!!! I know so many people are either on the fence or down right hate the idea of it going to AK.. I am one of the few who is really looking forward to it and just KNOW that Disney is going to rock it out of the park!!!
I have recently started teaching my oldest two to drive. All I can think about is all those parents out there with multiples. You mostly. I can't imagine having to do that. I have polar opposites in drivers. One won't go over 15 mph and the other wants to learn to do donuts and thinks she is ready for NASCAR.
driving.. God love you... i don't even want to think about this.. Meghan is my safety one who knows the rules. Matt and Zack? they scare the living stuff out of me.. this is all going to go down in what 5 years? i hope i am heavily medicated..
There is a possibility of a promotion at work. I am hoping for it. If I do get it, I will be checking out DVC. I have been looking for a good 6 months now, wishing, hoping that I could manage it
OHHHHHHHHHH PIXI DUST FOR YOU AND A PROMOTION!!!

I do so hope it comes threw for you!!!!
Nothing else new happening around here. Hope you have a great weekend and the Friday folders contain some better grades.
that's a LOT going on around you!!! i will update in a moment about Friday folders...
ugh sounds abit like my grade one teacher, lucky in other grades I had much better teachers. Sometimes it just seems that teachers don't understand when a kid in ther class has a learning disability or does something different. Like for example when i hold a pen or pencil I do it in an odd way don't know why it's just comfortable that way. My grade on teacher didn't like it and tried to teach me how to hold it "properly" by taping it to my hand.
This doesn't surprise me in the least. those teachers were one way one direction kind of people.nad PUSHED it on poor kids.. Who care how you hold your pen! as long as your doing the work!!
Now times have changed the amount of learning disabilities- ADD-ADHD it's insane how many children have it! i am sure if this was a diagnosis when we were kids there would have been several too..
But the sad part is some teachers are not conforming to the new ways of teaching. YET are embracing that damn common core crap. i am THANKFUL they will be getting a MUCH better teacher next year. yet they do switch classes and will have to deal with this goof for another year.
Oh can't imagine having to threaten to take trips away

Since I teach I think my kids are forced to spend more time at school than necessary. They tend to get homework done before we leave the building, and can always walk back to their classroom and get extra help if needed. I'm sure the day will come. The baby photos are adorable and they have grown into such cuties! It still amazes me even with our own their unique personalities. Like oldest DD has been a dancing diva since she could pull herself up. Nothing changed there. Can't wait to keep reading your report and especially loving the AoA photos!!!
IT STINKS in the worst way to have to threaten them to take away the trips.. School comes first. they have to know there are consequences for bad grades..
I WISH they could get extra help!!!! they are in catapult now and they LOVE the teacher there. she does a great job with Zack who know is so much better with his multiplication table. Their main teacher is a jerk anyone who finds it necessary to degrade the children... may i ask you. If there something on the wen that i can log into to help Zack with more of his work?
HA! AoA pictures.. I LOVE AoA! who wouldn't have thought!

Grade update:
I was going to allow the kids to walk home on Friday.. But i was TOO excited to see their grades. so i picked them up.
they all got into the car. Matt is boasting and Meg is in TEARS. Zack said he was too scared to even look.
after Meg caught her breath and i dropped my nephew off she told me how she had a 68 on her reading test... Ok OK we will go over everything once we get home.
sa soon as we hit the door the kids were tearing open the bookbags to show me how it went.. I help onto Zack's bookbag... He was getting antsy. so i had to prolong the wait.. I am a terrible mother sometimes i swear...
MEG FIRST.
She went from a 60 something on spelling to a 85 this week- religion she had a in the high eighties. and then the reading was a 68. BUT she did get all her vocab words correct and honestly she read a couple of the questions wrong which of course she had the answer wrong. showed her how there are words in the question which will help her get the correct answer. two other questions i would have picked the same as she did.
She is out of the dog house and off grounding.
Matt (must leave the suspense for zack)
All of Matt's grades were up to A's... I knew he could just needs to stop being so damn LAZY!
now Zack's turn.
I was messing with him.. he was getting so nervous he had tears in his eyes. had to stop the madness.. he went from having a 48 on the last spelling test and a 50 something on reading to a 79 on spelling and 86 on reading Yep. hard work paid off again.. He too had the same answers as Meg on a couple of them (the ones i would have picked too) and also showed him the trick of reading the question for the clues.
ALL OF THEM ARE FREE!! No longer grounded! They are still on thin ice as this is only one week of hard work. But they surprised me by bringing home their science books to study over the weekend!!!
YAY! they are on track! SO PROUD! so i do believe they know what's at stake here and they are willing to do the work.
Like i said earlier. these kids just get it. they understand so much. So much more then i did at their age. They know i don't want to be mean they know it kills me to ground them. Yet understand it must be done for the good and im not just a mean person.
So I helped with science Saturday and Sunday. Figured to reward them last night to go out for dinner then game night. WE HAD A BLAST!
It was nice to have our Sunday fun day back in action!
Now the rules are easy. IF the report cards are good the trip is still on. IF they decide to be lazy again. it's off. <- Honestly don't think they will.. Pretty much showed me they want to do better, i will continue to help as much as i can!!!
I continue to play with the new camera. and i am continuing to learn as much as i can about it. SO MUCH different then my old girl. slowly but surly i will have it down pat for the November trip. BRING ON THE FIREWORKS!
i also downloaded a few new programs but the amount to work for a photo like this:
(Thank you google images: Benjamin Hendel photography)
this will take ABOUT 8 hours of work...
yeah.. that's not going to happen. I COMMEND these photographers who put this much time in a picture.
on the other hand I am not a photoshop/layering kind of person. I believe the shot is the shot - yes i tweak it. but it's still an original image.
Check these out!!!
Can you image the amount of work this took!!?

Holy COW!
Now think.. each firework is a layer. lets not forget the black background? or the flag pole? removing all that smoke! fantastic work... NOT something i will be doing anytime soon.
it's a LOT of work...
On to a update!!!
