There's no time to slumber we're going back in November! we came we saw and started a TR for it all!

Wow, looks like you had a lovely Easter (yes, I'm catching up again!) I love Meg's Tsum Tsum purse and all the Stitches/Angel!

I take it by "Cancelling Disney" you actually mean "Finding a babysitter and having a grown-ups trip"? ;)

What an awful teacher, poor kids. :( They can't learn properly with that attitude working against them all the time. I don't blame you for complaining!

New born:

from Left Matt-Meg- Zack-
They are on a baby scale you know the one that usually holds one baby? HA! they were so small they were all able to fit on it.

love love love the teeny tiny baby pictures!! So precious. :cloud9:

Head on over to the monorail
take a beautiful ride to....

If you haven't taken the monorail over to Epcot- you must try it at least once- it's a sight to see!!!

Good to know! I think we probably took the monorail to Epcot on one of our trips when I was a kid, but I don't remember it all that well. On our Epcot day, we are planning on breakfast at Chef Mickey's:mickeyjum, and then taking the monorail over to Epcot. So now I'm really looking forward to that plan even more!:tink:

Had a chat with DH and my Mom last night and we are switching up some of our park days. Now we are planning on being at Epcot for the last day of food & wine on 11/16! So those are my Epcot plans for this trip!

Happy Friday, everyone! :yay::dogdance::banana::cheer2:

Hi Mo! I really should not be on the DIS today, I've got piles on my desk but I've missed everyone this last week so here I am.

Thanks for taking the time out and catching up! I have aton of work sitting here so i need to make this quick to get actually work done too..

Love your plans for Friday and Saturday. I really think you guys will love Rose and Crown. It really is too bad that you are allergic to eggs as the Scotch Egg is just so yummy! And you can't go wrong with O'Hana for breakfast! Hmmm, Jim is going to a concert tonight, maybe I need to make Mickey waffles for dinner.

i LOVE eggs.. there are days when i know i have NOTHING going on for at least three day and i will eat one.. then i am dying for the next three days.. but it's totally worth it.. HA HA.
Disney is not a place i want to do that in..
i need a good waffle mix. i haven't found anything that resembles disney waffles yet..
Did you make them?!?!

Adorable pictures of the kids as babies! So tiny, I would have been terrified to hold them! Of course that's just inexperience talking.

thank you! Too funny. they weren't too breakable.. i have stories that would make you laugh it all had to do with lack of sleep and caring for all of them.

Such a bummer that the kids are having trouble with their grades. It kind of sounds like the teacher is definitely part of the problem. I know if I was being treated like that, I wouldn't have any motivation to do well.

grrrrr today is the day if they are out of the hot water.. we shall see.

Oh, a bit back you asked for pictures of my Frozen Vinyls. Here you go!

TOTALLY took your advice! we also have the trolls. olaf hans and i think another olaf.. i can't remember.. It was a riot. we were ALL measuring the weight of the boxes!! HA HA!!!

Wow, looks like you had a lovely Easter (yes, I'm catching up again!) I love Meg's Tsum Tsum purse and all the Stitches/Angel!

Well i appreciate you taking the time and sticking around with me!!!
isn't all that stuff the best?!?! LOVE THE DISNEY STORE!

I take it by "Cancelling Disney" you actually mean "Finding a babysitter and having a grown-ups trip"? ;)

you betcha!!!
I will say this was the nail that hit them all in the head. They worked really hard. Today is a spelling test.. and honestly the words are a bit tough! so we shall see today when they get out of school...

What an awful teacher, poor kids. :( They can't learn properly with that attitude working against them all the time. I don't blame you for complaining!

she is a terrible teacher. It's so hard to keep them motivated at home when they get back to school they are told how worthless and stupid they are.. I am ready for this year to be OVER.

love love love the teeny tiny baby pictures!! So precious. :cloud9:

thank you!!! I do love them to bits.

GOOD you'll love it all! it's just so fun to ride around Epcot looking at the different perspectives! Just make sure you have your camera in hand!!!

Had a chat with DH and my Mom last night and we are switching up some of our park days. Now we are planning on being at Epcot for the last day of food & wine on 11/16! So those are my Epcot plans for this trip!

Happy Friday, everyone! :yay::dogdance::banana::cheer2:

Bad planning i will be in MK on the 16th.. Now go switch your plans.. :rotfl2:
JUST KIDDING!

Hope you have a HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

***********************************

Today is the day.. Today we find out if the kids really did buckle down and get the work done..
I am a little apprehensive in how their spelling will be. BUT i am keeping my thoughts positive until 3:15 when i open up their friday folders! :thumbsup2

I did work on my plan B and C Hopefully I will have some time later today to share with you..
Right now i am drowning with actual work... Don't they know it's friday screw off day??

Oh well.. Off to get some work done!

HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!

Did you make them?!?!

Yep I did! I really haven't found a mix that is the same as Disney either. Supposedly, Disney uses Carbon's Golden Malted Waffle Mix but I use it and it's just not the same. Of course it may just be the thinner waffles that my at home waffle maker makes.

i have stories that would make you laugh it all had to do with lack of sleep and caring for all of them.

I can so relate at the moment. Eddie is on two different antibiotics so of course he is drinking more and peeing more. I was up four times with him last night! I'm so tired right now that reality feels a little blurry.

we were ALL measuring the weight of the boxes!!

Glad I could help! The trolls are definitely lighter than the rest of the boxes.

BUT i am keeping my thoughts positive until 3:15 when i open up their friday folders! :thumbsup2

Fingers and toes crossed that the reports are all good!

Don't they know it's friday screw off day??

Tell me about it! I have four budget meetings this afternoon which I should probably get ready for right now. But I'm so close to being completely caught up on the DIS I think I will finish that first. Got to have my priorities straight, right? ::yes:: :P

Hi Mo! I'm finally back and getting caught up here on the DIS! We had a fabulous time and Miles was so great! He loved most things, but we hit a couple of serious bumps with Splash Mountain and Test Track! He loved Soarin and we did Magic Carpets of Aladdin 7 times! And Mickey bars every day with one day even two of them. He wanted to live there. Who doesn't?

Loved the pics of the midgets on the couch and then the newborn! Melt my heart! They are such great kids! You've done a wonderful job raising them. I'm glad they bucked down and did better with their school work. Hopefully today will bring great news for all of you. It's so hard to deny them, but as the Mom, you have to be prepared to do that and make it stick. Their futures are way too important not to, even though it hurts us more than them I think! You're doing great Miss Mo, so don't let it get you down!

I know plans change a lot before our trips, but so far your plans are looking really good. I do like Rose and Crown. We've eaten there 2 or 3 times and have enjoyed it each time. Hope you guys like it!

I guess I never mentioned that we finished the condo we were rehabbing and it went on the market the Saturday before we left for Disney. It ended up getting two offers and we signed electronically while in Disney and sold it!! Yay! Sold in 6 days!

So glad you are close to getting your car paid off! That's a great feeling! Now, if you just put that payment money away as though you were still paying on it, the next time you need a car, you'll have the money to pay cash for it. That's what Dan and I do and it's worked out great. Of course, we never did it while we had 4 kids at home, so maybe it doesn't work with a growing family. Just a thought! But congrats on getting it paid off soon!

Okay, I need to get going, so I'm really hoping the kids' reports are good and that sets the tone for a great weekend! Enjoy!

Hi Mo! Budget season has me tied to my desk this entire month, but Chelsea is home sick, so I was able to catch up on one of the threads. I feel so accomplished.

When we first moved to this place, I was surprised that the elementary schools do not give grades. They find grades can damage a kids self esteem. (Yes, it is a feel good, pot smoking, hippy type of city). So, she does her homework and if she gets a Meeting requirement, we are good. Grades do start next year though. I am not looking forward to that.

Your plans look great so far. I am not sure what I think of the Avatar expansion, but that video did get my heart rate pumping, so I guess I am a bit excited to see it finally done.

I have recently started teaching my oldest two to drive. All I can think about is all those parents out there with multiples. You mostly. I can't imagine having to do that. I have polar opposites in drivers. One won't go over 15 mph and the other wants to learn to do donuts and thinks she is ready for NASCAR.

There is a possibility of a promotion at work. I am hoping for it. If I do get it, I will be checking out DVC. I have been looking for a good 6 months now, wishing, hoping that I could manage it.

Nothing else new happening around here. Hope you have a great weekend and the Friday folders contain some better grades.

I really have had some issues with this teacher. have had to go to the principle a few times...
with comments like- you don't belong here- go back to kindergarten- why can't you get your stuff together when everyone else can- making the kids cry in school because they don't think they are worthy. Not to mention again Zack has a learning disability and she is NOT going with the program for him.
ugh sounds abit like my grade one teacher, lucky in other grades I had much better teachers. Sometimes it just seems that teachers don't understand when a kid in ther class has a learning disability or does something different. Like for example when i hold a pen or pencil I do it in an odd way don't know why it's just comfortable that way. My grade on teacher didn't like it and tried to teach me how to hold it "properly" by taping it to my hand.

Oh can't imagine having to threaten to take trips away:) Since I teach I think my kids are forced to spend more time at school than necessary. They tend to get homework done before we leave the building, and can always walk back to their classroom and get extra help if needed. I'm sure the day will come. The baby photos are adorable and they have grown into such cuties! It still amazes me even with our own their unique personalities. Like oldest DD has been a dancing diva since she could pull herself up. Nothing changed there. Can't wait to keep reading your report and especially loving the AoA photos!!!

50.00 for waffle mix? that's before they tack on the tax?!?! i don't think so!!! i am sure i will find something even if i have to doctor up a mix found at a store! I'll let you know if i ever find something close.

I can so relate at the moment. Eddie is on two different antibiotics so of course he is drinking more and peeing more. I was up four times with him last night! I'm so tired right now that reality feels a little blurry.

I am so sorry to hear about him.. I really am.. hate to hear about our fur babies not doing well.. Just know you are a FANTASTIC mommy to him and gave him a life where he is king of everything. Always here for you.

Glad I could help! The trolls are definitely lighter than the rest of the boxes.

LOVE THEM!!! why is this series SO CUTE?!?!

Fingers and toes crossed that the reports are all good!

i will get to this!!!

Tell me about it! I have four budget meetings this afternoon which I should probably get ready for right now. But I'm so close to being completely caught up on the DIS I think I will finish that first. Got to have my priorities straight, right? ::yes:: :P

HA! I hope you were able to get them all done!!!

awwwww I am so glad you all had a wonderful time!!!! i am sure he was just adorable!!!
I have to agree! who doesn't want to live there!!!
and with the new tv show named Miles i am sure you found a lot of cool stuff?!?!

Loved the pics of the midgets on the couch and then the newborn! Melt my heart! They are such great kids! You've done a wonderful job raising them. I'm glad they bucked down and did better with their school work. Hopefully today will bring great news for all of you. Thank you so much!! I do love my munchkins.. and i HATE to be mean. They know i don't like it. They know it must be done.. it's strange how much they do understand only being 10.
I will update about grade at the bottom...

I know plans change a lot before our trips, but so far your plans are looking really good. I do like Rose and Crown. We've eaten there 2 or 3 times and have enjoyed it each time. Hope you guys like it!

I do too.. it'll be a first! i will be post the last day then my plan b and c soon after.

I guess I never mentioned that we finished the condo we were rehabbing and it went on the market the Saturday before we left for Disney. It ended up getting two offers and we signed electronically while in Disney and sold it!! Yay! Sold in 6 days!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am SO SO SO happy for you guys!!! This is EXCELLENT!!! great job!

So glad you are close to getting your car paid off! That's a great feeling! i am way too excited about getting this car paid OFF!!! it's going to be so nice to have some money back,.and can pay OFF the trip!!! WOO HOO!

Okay, I need to get going, so I'm really hoping the kids' reports are good and that sets the tone for a great weekend! Enjoy!

Hi Mo! Budget season has me tied to my desk this entire month, but Chelsea is home sick, so I was able to catch up on one of the threads. I feel so accomplished.

you and Ariana both! sorry work is so crazy for you!
YAY you picked me!!! I hope Chelsea is feeling better?!?!

WHAAAAAA? no grades? ohhh yeah that hippy dippy way of learning.. I know of a couple of kids in that magnet schooling. unlike you.. these parent's are WEIRDO's like god forbid you tell the kid NO.
then wonder why their kid is running around like a NUT without discipline.. I feel sorry for the kids when they grow older the real world doesn't play by those rules...

Your plans look great so far. I am not sure what I think of the Avatar expansion, but that video did get my heart rate pumping, so I guess I am a bit excited to see it finally done.

I am telling you it's going to be AWESOME!!! I know so many people are either on the fence or down right hate the idea of it going to AK.. I am one of the few who is really looking forward to it and just KNOW that Disney is going to rock it out of the park!!!

I have recently started teaching my oldest two to drive. All I can think about is all those parents out there with multiples. You mostly. I can't imagine having to do that. I have polar opposites in drivers. One won't go over 15 mph and the other wants to learn to do donuts and thinks she is ready for NASCAR.

driving.. God love you... i don't even want to think about this.. Meghan is my safety one who knows the rules. Matt and Zack? they scare the living stuff out of me.. this is all going to go down in what 5 years? i hope i am heavily medicated..

There is a possibility of a promotion at work. I am hoping for it. If I do get it, I will be checking out DVC. I have been looking for a good 6 months now, wishing, hoping that I could manage it

OHHHHHHHHHH PIXI DUST FOR YOU AND A PROMOTION!!! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:
I do so hope it comes threw for you!!!!

Nothing else new happening around here. Hope you have a great weekend and the Friday folders contain some better grades.

that's a LOT going on around you!!! i will update in a moment about Friday folders...

ugh sounds abit like my grade one teacher, lucky in other grades I had much better teachers.

This doesn't surprise me in the least. those teachers were one way one direction kind of people.nad PUSHED it on poor kids.. Who care how you hold your pen! as long as your doing the work!!
Now times have changed the amount of learning disabilities- ADD-ADHD it's insane how many children have it! i am sure if this was a diagnosis when we were kids there would have been several too..
But the sad part is some teachers are not conforming to the new ways of teaching. YET are embracing that damn common core crap. i am THANKFUL they will be getting a MUCH better teacher next year. yet they do switch classes and will have to deal with this goof for another year.

Oh can't imagine having to threaten to take trips away:) Since I teach I think my kids are forced to spend more time at school than necessary. They tend to get homework done before we leave the building, and can always walk back to their classroom and get extra help if needed. I'm sure the day will come. Like oldest DD has been a dancing diva since she could pull herself up. Nothing changed there. Can't wait to keep reading your report and especially loving the AoA photos!!!

IT STINKS in the worst way to have to threaten them to take away the trips.. School comes first. they have to know there are consequences for bad grades..
I WISH they could get extra help!!!! they are in catapult now and they LOVE the teacher there. she does a great job with Zack who know is so much better with his multiplication table. Their main teacher is a jerk anyone who finds it necessary to degrade the children... may i ask you. If there something on the wen that i can log into to help Zack with more of his work?

HA! AoA pictures.. I LOVE AoA! who wouldn't have thought!

*****************************************************************************

Grade update:
I was going to allow the kids to walk home on Friday.. But i was TOO excited to see their grades. so i picked them up.
they all got into the car. Matt is boasting and Meg is in TEARS. Zack said he was too scared to even look.
after Meg caught her breath and i dropped my nephew off she told me how she had a 68 on her reading test... Ok OK we will go over everything once we get home.
sa soon as we hit the door the kids were tearing open the bookbags to show me how it went.. I help onto Zack's bookbag... He was getting antsy. so i had to prolong the wait.. I am a terrible mother sometimes i swear...

MEG FIRST.
She went from a 60 something on spelling to a 85 this week- religion she had a in the high eighties. and then the reading was a 68. BUT she did get all her vocab words correct and honestly she read a couple of the questions wrong which of course she had the answer wrong. showed her how there are words in the question which will help her get the correct answer. two other questions i would have picked the same as she did.

She is out of the dog house and off grounding.

Matt (must leave the suspense for zack)
All of Matt's grades were up to A's... I knew he could just needs to stop being so damn LAZY!

now Zack's turn.
I was messing with him.. he was getting so nervous he had tears in his eyes. had to stop the madness.. he went from having a 48 on the last spelling test and a 50 something on reading to a 79 on spelling and 86 on reading Yep. hard work paid off again.. He too had the same answers as Meg on a couple of them (the ones i would have picked too) and also showed him the trick of reading the question for the clues.

ALL OF THEM ARE FREE!! No longer grounded! They are still on thin ice as this is only one week of hard work. But they surprised me by bringing home their science books to study over the weekend!!!
YAY! they are on track! SO PROUD! so i do believe they know what's at stake here and they are willing to do the work.

Like i said earlier. these kids just get it. they understand so much. So much more then i did at their age. They know i don't want to be mean they know it kills me to ground them. Yet understand it must be done for the good and im not just a mean person.
So I helped with science Saturday and Sunday. Figured to reward them last night to go out for dinner then game night. WE HAD A BLAST!
It was nice to have our Sunday fun day back in action!
Now the rules are easy. IF the report cards are good the trip is still on. IF they decide to be lazy again. it's off. <- Honestly don't think they will.. Pretty much showed me they want to do better, i will continue to help as much as i can!!!

I continue to play with the new camera. and i am continuing to learn as much as i can about it. SO MUCH different then my old girl. slowly but surly i will have it down pat for the November trip. BRING ON THE FIREWORKS!
i also downloaded a few new programs but the amount to work for a photo like this:
11465056346_ffa3f91eef_b.jpg

(Thank you google images: Benjamin Hendel photography)
this will take ABOUT 8 hours of work...
yeah.. that's not going to happen. I COMMEND these photographers who put this much time in a picture.
on the other hand I am not a photoshop/layering kind of person. I believe the shot is the shot - yes i tweak it. but it's still an original image.

Check these out!!!
dpadwdw123456.jpg

Can you image the amount of work this took!!?

3278f537d9302d0d5a2d6ea56982587f.jpg

:scared1: Holy COW!
Now think.. each firework is a layer. lets not forget the black background? or the flag pole? removing all that smoke! fantastic work... NOT something i will be doing anytime soon.

it's a LOT of work...

On to a update!!!

I've already ranted about the Dis and the no updates thing on Kathy ptr so I won't go into again here. Let's just say that I'm all caught up and just in time to hear that the three amigos are off punishment! Yay kids! It's so hard to be a tough parent and toss out punishment. Sounds like it did the trick though and they are improving. Your pictures are absolutely amazing! I'm talking magazine worthy woman! If you want to share any of them, take a look at my last post on my report.

Sunday November 22
D-Day...

Don't even like writing a Pre-trip report about a last day!
Packing up the car again:

I hope to be up and out EARLY today
We will be ending the same way we came in.

The crowd level for the day is 6 out of 10 and HS will be a 5! :scared1:

I can GUARANTEE we will NOT wait in a 80+ minute line at ToT this time around. I WILL get a FP for whatever is needed!!

NO ADR's today but i am SURE we will have an abundance of QS left over we will make great use of them.

I cannot wait:

my mouth is watering now...

after saying goodbye:

We MIGHT hop over and stay at US for 1 night or we might start our drive home! Don't know just yet.. depends on $$..
If we start our drive home i would like to leave a LOT earlier then we did in Sept. coming home late, then jumping right back into school/work was a killer. i would love to have a bit of down time before the hectic game of catch up with schoolwork and work! :crazy2:

I am sure all the crowd levels will start to change now that free dining came out. i hope not too much!!

Ok now to post the possibilities.. I would love some input on this!

Yep they did well. I can see all the hard work they out into this week.. I just hope it continues!
I am going over there now!!!

Yay, I am so glad the kiddos did so much better..

Thanks! I am very happy!!!

Yay for better report cards! I hope they continue to improve.

Last days suck even when they are months away. :sad1: I do hope you guys get to spend a little time at Universal, it was a lot of fun.

I'm sure they will... and just awesome that they know you mean business, but only because you have to. What a great reflection on them!!

I am sure all the crowd levels will start to change now that free dining came out. i hope not too much!!

I know, I was thinking that everything is going to change too... hopefuly not too much though. I'm kind of psyched about our revised plans after making a couple of little changes. I also just bought myself a new laptop/tablet hybrid and I have to say I'm loving using that to browse the DIS! :coffee:
