Every time I see the pink castle I think of the postcard my 9th grade "boyfriend" sent me from his vacation of the pink castle. I hated it and was so happy when we broke up so I could get rid of the ugly postcard and stop pretending to think it was nice to have hung up!

I'm so glad you got a good job, hope you have recovered and don't catch anything else I was sick (flu like symptoms) for about 2 weeks, these things can be hard to shake

Just finished reading your first PTR & TR from May & decided to jump onboard your 2nd PTR. I am enjoying it. The pictures of you and your sisters when you were younger are so adorable.

Cute snowmen! I love Christmas decorations, too! The Ye Old Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom is close to impossible to resist!

Thanks! I always forget to look in the Christmas shops when we're there. I'm going to have to stop in either that one or the one at DTD this time.

The Christmas store was open?!?! It just seems so early. I thought it was bad when I went to Target yesterday and behind the Halloween section they had a mini selection of Christmas stuff out. Love your little snowmen though! 78 more days now!!!

Yeah, and it was kind of funny because on the way there I was even wondering when it would be open. I didn't expect it to be so early though!

Happy October, everyone!

Wow, we're getting that much closer to December. Woo hoo! Only 2 1/2 months to go.

We still have not called for an ADR at WCC. I am going to try and do that some time today.

Also, the "What Will You Celebrate?" tour is supposed to be here today. I still have not seen/heard anything else on what time it's supposed to be so I guess I'm just going to have to go off of the times in the other cities. Good thing downtown is only 15 minutes away and I have to go down there anyway.

On a side note, we have another event to look forward to this weekend! The Brewers are in the playoffs!!! We're all really excited since it's been 26 years since they've last been in the playoffs (meaning my sisters and I weren't even born yet!). This past weekend it was so much fun seeing everyone pumped up. We went to a rally for the team on Monday before they had to leave for Philadelphia. That was fun. Since we had partial season tickets we were able to get tickets to the first home game of the series on Saturday. Can't wait!

Hi again...just a shameless bump to the first page. A couple updates:

1.) Still have not called about ADRs. Though now I'm not even sure I want to because guess what happened the other day? You know how our flights have been switched around so many times? Yes, that's right, we got another call that they were switched back to the original times (9:30 am to Orlando). I'm beginning to think that this trip is not even going to happen. I did mention something about switching airlines but we're probably not going to bother. UGHHHH this is just ridiculous.

2.) I did end up going to the "What Will You Celebrate?" Tour on Wednesday. I have to agree with what others have said...it is nothing special. By the time I got there all the balloons were gone.

3.) The teacher that I have been subbing for is still out, so I'll be filling in for her again all next week! As I was leaving I ran into the principal and she was telling me how they really want me there and all the teachers she's talked to have been saying I've been doing such a good job. She also told me how they all missed me on Wednesday when I wasn't there. Yesterday one of the third grade teachers asked if I would be back next week but I didn't know at the time (I got called pretty much as soon as I got home). She said she hoped I would be. So that felt pretty good...I guess I'm doing something right! The only bad thing is that I was called earlier in the week to sub at the school where I student taught on Thursday but now I won't be. I was kind of looking forward to seeing my cooperating teacher/some of the kids again.

So this is not directly trip-related, but I went to the mall today with Mom and Emma and the Christmas store was open! Of course I had to take a peek in there (I loooooove Christmas decorations) and look what I picked up:

The Christmas shop in our town opened a couple of weeks ago!!!! It get earlier every year!

Yeah of course ...... you've been brainwashed Although I think DH would use that as his defense and I'm quite happy to brainwash him

I agree about Camp Rock, it just doesn't have the same appeal. Did like a couple of songs but it just wasn't musical enough (or half as funny Ryan and Sharpay are just the best ) I'm really looking forward to seeing HSM3, my credit card has been charged and we have 2 tix booked for the 8pm show on the 24th The song they've previewed on DC - with Ryan and Sharpay in pink - looks so cool

My kids told me today they want a Christmas trip to Disney sometime.
I was talking about going back at Halloween, and Jacob said we need to go at Christmas and see the decorations. Hannah agreed, just not ON Christmas day. She's not taking any chances on missing her gifts.

Well, I thought I'd share the couple of pictures I took from the "What Will You Celebrate?" Tour. Like I said, it really was nothing special. All they had was a computer station where you could register your birthday (which you can also do at home...)

They didn't have any more balloons when I got there but they were handing out little "invitations" explaining the new celebration. It looked like this:

Overall it was kind of disappointing. Oh well. If there's going to be one near you, don't go out of your way to get there. Not really worth it.

Yeah, I wish it would've been more exciting. When I first mentioned it to Dad he was telling me about the thing they had for the 25th anniversary where they had characters and you even got a sampler of the official WDW album. Why couldn't it have been like that?!

Well, my ticket is paid for with a credit card but the other two we got with the last two free flight vouchers from when our flight was cancelled last December. I know Dad already redeemed them if something does happen but I doubt we'd get anything in return if we're cancelled again.
