Wow! 100 days. We're almost there ourselves in about another week. Just imagine. . .you're less than 48 hours away from double digits!

Yeah, I figure even if I am offered the position and decide not to accept it atleast it's another interview under my belt and that's always helpful.

I know, so exciting! 100 days seems like a lot but it'll fly by. Not that I'm complaining or anything...hehe

OK, that makes sense then! I saw that and was wondering if I missed something. I didn't know what newlans was. LOL. As for new plans, we really haven't done too much. I was thinking about how it would be fun to try another new restaurant on this trip but then I remembered my sister's a pretty picky eater and doesn't eat much of anything. So instead of going somewhere for dinner I may suggest going somewhere for breakfast, like Chef Mickey's maybe (though I'm sure that's pretty popular with families with little kids). We weren't able to go to the ESPN Club in January so we might just plan on eating there one night.

TOP TEN MUST-DOs!!

In honor of reaching the 100-day mark (well...almost ), I thought I'd compile a list of ten things I'd like to do when we go:

Go miniature golfing
---We wanted to play in May but couldn't fit it in. So we definitely have to go this time! Maybe in keeping with the season we'll play at Winter Summerland.

Ride Toy Story Mania
---Dad and I were fortunate enough to get to ride on our last trip and had a blast. I can't wait to see how Emma likes it.

Eat at Beaches and Cream
---I've always wanted to go there and since we'll be at the BCV there's no excuse not to go!

Play in Stormalong Bay
---I was talking to Emma the other day and said that I'll be really disappointed if it's in the 30s again and we can't swim. That pool is awesome!

See Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade
---If you didn't read my Dec/Jan. TR from last year, you might not know that we were chosen to be in the parade (we got to ride in the very last car with Mickey!!! We had a blast). So now it holds a special place in our hearts, even if we did have that song stuck in our heads for days.

See Block Party Bash
---Only caught the end of this in May since TSM was doing previews. Dad and I saw it when we were in Disneyland but it's a really fun show/parade.

Ride a surrey bike
---It's something that Emma and I keep saying we want to do so badly but we never have actually done it. We think it would be so much fun.

Visit the resorts
---It's always fun to see all the decorations they put up for the holidays. I'd like to check out the Yacht Club and Boardwalk since we'll be right there and maybe all the monorail resorts as well.

Try Mission:Space
---I'm not so sure this will actually happen since I'm kind of a chicken. Though Dad and Emma love it. We'll see...

Win a dream!
---I have been wanting those dream mouse ears forever...though a dream fast pass wouldn't be bad either.

So there ya have it! I'm sure as we get closer to the trip we'll be adding more things to the list.

Glad your interview went well. I totally agree with you...stay in the district you are now. It's not worth the longer drive plus you would make less money. And if you stay in this district they know what an awesome teacher you are so once a job opens up you would be more inclined to get the job!

Hi and to my PTR! Yeah, we've been to WDW a few times right after Christmas and it's been great. It'll be even more exciting going before Christmas this time.

We're from the Milwaukee area. I see you're from Sheboygan...it's nice to have another Wisconsinite stop by and read my TR.

We are officially at 100 days today!!!

And like I said I'm sure that list of must-dos would get longer as we got closer to the dates...and sure enough, I just thought of a couple I forgot to put on there!

Go on a Disney scavenger hunt
You know all those little details that make Disney World so awesome? Since we've been there so many times now, I thought it would be cool to spend some time looking for hidden Mickeys and other special secrets all over the World. I forgot that Dad had purchased the Hidden Mickeys book and I bought the Passporter's Treasure Hunts book last year.

Unfortunately we never got around to actually using them. So this time we definitely have to look through them. Both books have lists/clues for locations of hidden Mickeys, etc. at all the parks and resorts. How cool is that?!

Trade a pin (or two...)
I love collecting pins but have never traded. So I might give it a try. Could be fun!


This may be really dorky of me but I was thinking that because I've been to Disney a total of 13 times now, it might be fun to post an old picture at every ten-day mark starting with today. So here's the first photo! Ahh, memories...

Claire, Emma, and me on our first trip to Disney World in 1991. I was only 5 years old. It's kind of cool because we stayed at the Disney villas on that trip and I'm pretty sure that it's where Saratoga Springs is right now. In a way we've come full circle since SSR is our "home" now.

Yeah, one of the districts that I sub in (the same district where I did my student teaching) is pretty big...there's 12 elementary schools alone. I was pretty lucky because once I was done student teaching I was able to get a job for pretty much every day. I'm counting on that happening again this year as the school year progresses!

Yesterday we reached the double digits, woo hoo!!

98 days to go!

I had my first subbing job today. It was kind of weird because the teacher I was subbing for was only gone in the afternoon so in the morning they didn't really have anything for me to do. I actually went into another room that also had a sub so we did some team teaching. That went well but the afternoon was a different story...those kids were crazy!

Anyway, back to the trip. I mentioned how I hope to do some pin trading this time. I've been checking ebay every so often to see if I could find some deals on pin lots. So today I bought one that I had on my watch list...it has 10 of the cast member/hidden Mickey pins in it for $24.95. I thought that was a pretty good deal, only about $2.50 a pin. It was also nice because it showed what exactly I'd be getting. I can't wait for them to come!

You should take a look on eBay! It's kind of overwhelming with all they have on there though.

I have those books! I've never gotten around to using them either. I loved the pic. That's a cool idea to go back to Memory Lane as each 10 days goes by. I began buying pins two trips ago, and I can't imagine ever trading the ones I have. I have thought about trading, but I just can't see giving any up.
