don't worry, us too! Ours arrived last week and it was a big one. I jumped as soon as I saw felicity's tea set back in stock and ordered three of everything we didn't already have to be sure there was one for DD9, DGD9... and one for me! Ten percent of that one would have been sweet.
Of course, we still don't own the camper or the treehouse yet, and both will be gone soon too, but sadly they're not in the budget before the holidays unless something major changes....
My PS in NYC mentioned it to me when I called her just before school started. I don't have any definite & official notification but remember her mentioning Kaya's teepee and Kit's treehouse among other things that were slated to be the next to go. There was a sizable list she showed me but, at this point, please assume it to be rumor.
Most of the outfits she mentioned had to do more with the books. It seemed like most from the historical dolls' movies were safe, at least for now. I took it as another sign of how IMO the focus has changed over the years from Pleasant Rowland's original intention of encouraging reading and historical accuracy to selling what's presumed to be popular under mattel's leadership...

I agree. This was such a nice company when it first came out. We own 2 of the Pleasant Co dolls (they were mine) and one Mattel doll. Even my 8 yo DD has noticed the difference in the quality of the dolls... when she opened Elizabeth this summer she said "She doesn't feel like Samantha or Felicity! She's too light!" LOL Although, they did ADD a historical doll last year (Rebecca) and I love that she is Jewish as my dad's family traces back to being Jewish though they aren't now. Anyway, I do think they are shifting the focus which I hate. We are going to ATL in a few weeks and DD was wanting the My American Girl. I get that the online option is neat BUT I kind of want her to stick to historical dolls, especially if they are going to stop doing them or make less of them. I'm really wrestling with what to allow her to get. She is getting a Maplea doll for Christmas (the redhead - looks just like her!) so I don't really think she needs the "looks like me" aspect, especially since the only one that resembles her is the one that basically is Felicity with bangs...I mean, we have Felicity now, KWIM? I wish she'd get Kit LOL I love her hair. And why couldn't they make the historical dolls a code to allow you to play in a historical community? I'd be all for that!
For the 10% off you have to have $100 worth of merchandise in the cart but not for the bag. If I understand, the bag is what she is asking about ... I couldn't get the code to work either. It would add the bag for $5 but at checkout it would show $15. I called and did my order over the phone, the service rep got it to work. If you really want it call them
The outlet in WI? Do you live near there? We vacationed in WI this summer and were driving down from Green Bay when I spied the billboard. DD and I both started screaming "American Girl! American Girl! Get off at that exit!!" my 11 yo DS was rolling his eyes and pretending to gag but I'm pretty sure DH had to go change his underwear when we finally got to the outlet. He said he first thought he had hit someone from all the screaming going on
Ithat place. I'm seriously considering planning another Northern vacay just to go back LOL We've been to the Chicago store and, while the outlet was no "store" experience, we RACKED UP! I got DD clothes, a Samantha gown to match her doll's, a pet set (that I got for $6 but still retails for something like $18), a (ugly) doll's rock star outfit that I've never seen before or since but DD is
when her friends come over and see it. Other odds and ends as well. If you live close order now, do the outlet later ... but if you are just passing through - stop, stop, STOP at the outlet (it is so worth it!)
I had hoped to be able to buy AG, Barbies, etc. I still look at them longingly 
My DH kept saying "Just pay the $@#% ten dollars more" LOL but I can't pass up a bargain. When I called the guy (Andrew if you care to ask for a particular rep) told me that he had been getting calls about it all day so apparently there is a glitch.
I would be on the road all the time if I lived near a store or the outlet LOL We found Licorice there this summer. DD got her because she thought it looked like our cat (it doesn't but who cares!) Be sure to check your BB clothes before you leave. There was an irate grandma there the day we went - she had bought a set of BB clothes and thought the worker pulled a boy and girl outfit but had gotten ALL THE WAY HOME (not sure if this was 6 hours or 6 minutes from the store but she screamed it every other sentence LOL) only to find she had two of the same outfit. 
I just got over $55.00 dollars back in a credit!!
Almost done with my Christmas shopping!!
