........ a thread about this but what computer software do you use to edit pictures and add stuff and such? And which one do you recommend?

i'd like a computer program to edit my photos and add stuff and such.
i know there's something like photo.... but i can't remember the name...

I know we've had a few threads about this but i'm honestly too lazy to go digging in the past bajillion threads there have been to find it.

I use the GIMP. You can find it on download.com. It's a free program, so it's really good for just doing simple things with.

I've had more programs than I care to remember.

Currently I use photoshop. It comes iwth image ready which I make gifs with.

Photoshop is my hands down favorite.

I use PhotoImpressions and PhotoSuite. I do a lot of photo editing and these, I think, are good to use (that is, if you know how to take advantage of all the editing abilities) and cheaper than photoshop.

I use paint.net which is good and free also.

Adobe Photoshop (or just Photoshop) is the best to work with. To make pics, there's also Adobe Design or something. It's Adobe, but I can't remember the exact name.

Photoshop Elements. It's cheap. It works good.
or normal Photoshop.
