You are going to have the best time going in November! I am so excited for you and there is nothing like that first trip. I wish I could be a fly on the wall to see you guys when you first walk through the gates at MK!! Savor that first walk down Main Street! It's a beautiful thing!
Forgot to ask, Your daughter went to BBB. Did she buy a dress there, take one with her or skip the dress? I notice she had one on in the pictures. Also, if she took one did they treat her the same as the girls buying a dress. I am thinking of saving a good bit and taking my DDs dress. They are so much cheaper at the
Disney store.
We did bring our own dress from home. We did the hair, make-up, and nails package. When you first get there, just tell them that you have your own dress and they will give you a "royal" dressing room for you to change in. They absolutley do NOT care if you bring your own dress and they will treat you just like everyone else. I didn't see anyone buying a dress while we were there. It's just too expensive!
Then after they were done with her, we walked back up towards the entrance of MK to "Exposition Hall" (near the train station) and had all the photos taken with the blue background. If you are buying the photopass CD, they can add the pictures right onto that and it won't cost you a dime. If you aren't doing the CD, they will still take the pictures but you will have to buy them from the photopass counter. Or you can just take your own photos with your camera while they are taking the photopass pictures. When we did it in '08, I think the BBB package we got was $50 and that was all we paid for the whole experience since we brought our own dress and had the free pics added to our CD. That is the best way to go. I wouldn't do the expensive BBB package that includes the dress if I were you. I hope that all makes sense. If you have anymore questions, just ask away!

Thank you so much! I hope you guys aren't too dissapointed that the flashbacks are mostly just pictures. I just can't remember everything that happened b/c it has been too long. I really wish I had done a TR for the trip as well so I could have a record of all the little details like I have for the '09 trip. I will try to add in wahtever I can remember though, but I know it won't be much. I hate that all those memories are lost!
Sometimes it stinks to have to be a responsible adult! The devil on my left shoulder says charge it and GO! But the angel on the right says to get my car paid off so we won't owe anybody for anything except our house! I'm just way too type "A", so that angel wins!
And it was his company car!!!!!!!! They allow us to drive it for personal use so we took it. I bought the paint pens from the Dollar Tree........ bad idea!!!
Although, great idea with bringing out the best memories from your '08 trip. You've got me hooked
