There's a First Time for Everything! A Christmas In November TR

Thank you Rinky, the idea about checking into a soft opening for the OL is a good one. I bought a new camera (yes already) my other one is a bridge camera and kinda a pain too drag around the parks, this one is small so should be fun once I figure it out :rotfl:

Now about Snow White, did it happen yet? How is Our lil mirror (your DD )doing?

You are welcome! But learn from my mistake and get plenty of practice with your new camera BEFORE you get to WDW! :rolleyes1 I could have kicked myself for not learning how to use it before my trip! I've been wanting one of those little small cameras myself! They look so easy to carry around!

Snow White coming up!

DD had her kindergarten play this week and it was really cute. They performed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Their teacher narrated it and the entire play rhymed!!! I thought that was awesome! Anyway, DD was the mirror and she remembered all her lines even though she was nervous. Here are a few pictures and a some video of the event! I just posted one short clip that included DD saying one of her lines. I think it is only 1 or 2 minutes long. Remember, they are only five years old! ;)

(BTW, in this version, Snow White has a rabbit friend and the evil Queen has a mean cat.)

OK, video upload is not cooperating. I'll keep working on it and see if I can get it to post.

Oh my goodness! What a precious group of children acting out Snow White!!! I about died laughing over the picture of Snow White felled by the poisonous apple. I bet your DD was wonderful as the mirror!

Loved seeing the pictures and the video was fantastic, thanks for shareing been years since my own were little and with no grandbabies yet I enjoyed it very much!!! Tell DD she did GREAT!:thumbsup2
Btw I plan on learning to use my camera ahead of time one reason I bought it so soon, now lets just hope it is still functioning by time I go :rotfl2:

So much fun! The kids did a great job. They didn't hesitate at all and knew right when it was time for their lines. It is obvious a lot of work went into that before the actual production.

Tell your daughter she did a great job, and this DIS friend wishes she could have seen more! :)

Oh my how completely adorable! I forgot you were from the south until I heard those adorable accents! I love it so much! Your DD did a great job, that was a long line and she didn't hesitate at all, you must be so proud!

First thing I noticed to was the accent. LOL!
That is just the cutest. Alot of work went into that!

OH MY GOSH!!! That video was precious!!! Your DD was great and the queen hysterical! I have tears running down my cheeks! I love the southern accents and how the teacher/narrator was trying to hold back her laughter too!

Tell your DD she was AWESOME!!! I'm sure you're very proud. :thumbsup2

That was adorable!! My DD enjoyed watching it with me too!:goodvibes
I wish we could see the whole thing. Tell your DD that she was fantastic!

I must say, what accent are all these folks talkin' about??:rolleyes1

I love your TR and I have only looked thru the second part, now I need to go back and see the 2009 trip. Your family pictures at the GF are great, we are planning on doing that for our Dec trip. Can I ask a favor, can you list the days of the week that you did each park, seems like you had it all planned out great., I would love to compare it to our dates we have figured out. When was your CP Ressie and can't believe noone was there in the park! It looks like you guys had an amazing trip-yippee that you will be scheduling another one in the next year or so.
Thanks so much, Erika

P.S. Our daughters are about the same age, mine is starting Kindergarten in the fall also...we waited years for our family and I agree completely about being thankful for that wait because you don't take it for granted...everyday is an amazing gift...our daughter came to us threw adoption...God's perfect plan for our family!

Loved your whole trip report, full of great info and fun times!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!! Makes me so excited about our upcoming trip.

Are you glad you did 1900 for dinner and MVMCP on the same night? Did you think it was too much to do in one night? I want to do CRT & MVMCP on the same night, but several people told me it isn't a good idea, that we should just do QS that night and do the CRT on another night.

Thanks, Erika

Oh and let me tell you, her fall was VERY dramatic! :lmao: She could've won an Emmy! They all were so into it that it really made it very funny! As a teacher, you would have appreciated their little production! ;)

This is so adorable rinky, just precious!!:littleangel:

They are so precious at that age. They all went out there and just gave it their all with very little apprehension or worry about what others would think. Too bad most of us adults can't have that same carefree attitude. :)
