I was in VMK Babs room because I wanted to ask a question about when we are going to be able to delete or sell rooms. She said they are working on it. Yea right, they have been telling me that for months!

I asked if I could answer a question. She told me to wait and then proceeded to talk to other people in the room, chit chat type stuff for about five minutes. Then she said I could ask myt question. So I did. The some other people had things they wanted to ask.

Someone else asked her if there would be Christmas items and costumes and she said she doesn't know about costumes but there would be Christmas items.

Then she made a crack about she should be in her question room. Um isn't staff supposed to be answering questions? That really annoyed me.

Is it VMK for helping players and Host for games?

In a perfect word, yes. In vmk??? Seems all bets are off and the players are dealt with when they feel like it.

You know, i thought it was just me. But lately it seems like somebody needs to go to staff and pull the proverbial stick/bug from....


And about the decorations. You could make the argument (i guess) that the pumkins and such are fall like and would go with thanksgiving as well. But the signs that flat out say happy halloween, and trick or treat, are just plain tacky now. VMK has become the next door neighbor that keeps his christmas lights up until valentines day. lol. And the fact that the words disney, and magic kingdom, are associated with it is quite sad and embarrassing. Ok maybe they dont have the next set of decorations ready, but take down the halloween stuff already. You're going to tell me its harder to remove them from a computer program than to take down they actual decorations at the park? They managed to get those down overnight lol.

The only problem is whenever they make a change to a room it takes forever to download the first time. When they added the Halloween stuff, each location took about 5 minutes to change for me. I've learned to leave the cookies alone, but then again, if I see here that the rooms have changed again I will clear my cache out. It's hard to pick around all those little vmk items!

I highly disagree. There is a difference between getting paid and being nice. I 100% DOUBT that they get paid to talk to us; to answer questions, yea, but to have conversations as I have seen so many of them do is a different story. Likewise, I have seen VMK Staffers go above and beyond to make others happy after events that do not work correctly. One person's experiences do not constitute what everyone else experiences.

I think everyone needs to stop lumping the staff into one person's facade of "bad employees." It really is sad to see all of these complaints when NONE of us have ANY idea what is going on behind the scenes. Remember, this is a work in progress that is constantly being updated and revamped. All of the kinks have not been ironed out and new things are being tested. Be patient everyone. Cut them some slack.

I think some of the VM staff can be quite rude, on the other hand some can have a good day. In the real magic kingdom all the staff is quite helpful and not rude. Just because we re behind a computer screen some staff in vmk think they can treat us like game characters.

PS I think most of the people who are defending the staff just want freebies from them.
