There is still hope for a summer discount...

I called agian today to see if I have a pin. No such luck. However, the CM did tell me to "keep checking the website b/c we haven't posted any summer deals yet." Yes she said yet! Here's hoping. All of our trips except for one have always been in June, which is when we are going this time, and we have never gone without some kind of a discount (knock on wood). Here's to watching

I got that discount for July as a pin- generally it gets generally released shortly thereafter. It's the same discount that is going on now- block out weekend of jluy 4(so 3-5 no discount)
Good luck to everyone at getting a code. I am hoping if they broaden the discount we may be able to switch a little.

I need help please....we are planning on going to Disney this summer, haven't been in years because we have been hooked on Disney Cruise Line. How do I go about getting this discount everybody is talking about, do I need a code or does it automatically come in when you put in your info.

Just log into disneyworld.com and go under the tab at the bottom of the screen that says "Save at least 25% off select Disney Resorts". From there...you just choose your dates, the people in your party, and it will automatically bring up the discounted price. When the discount first came out yesterday, there was a glich in the system and regular rack rate came up. But they got it fixed and the discount rate is now appearing. Remember it gets even cheaper in July (somewhere around the 17th) because that begins value season but you still get the same percent discount.

Thank you. I know this is probably not the correct thread to ask on, but, we are looking at staying at a deluxe resort. Have never stayed at deluxe, can you recommend one, we also want to spend a day relaxing at the resort, so are looking for a nice relaxing pool area.

Who is in your traveling party? That may help to make suggestions for a resort. But IMO, you can't go wrong with the pools or atmosphere at Poly or BC. Have fun deciding

love2travel: As you can see...we have stayed both at GF and WL. The pools are absolutely wonderful! At the WL, it is very relaxing. There are tables, 2 hot tubs, a kiddie pool, and a bar to get drinks if you wanted something like that. As far as the resort itself...we LOVE it!!!!

The theming is awesome. The rooms are not huge like the one we had at the GF but we're really only in the room long enough to sleep, shower, and take an afternoon break.

I doubt you could go wrong with any resort, but the deluxe definately have their pluses. Our favorite park is MK and it is within 5-10 minutes by ferry boat or bus.

Hey Teresa ... long time, no chat. I haven't been on DIS in quite some time, but we too are planning a WDW trip this summer (last week of August). Hoping for a free dining deal to be released. We're staying moderate (Port Orleans Riverside because we need 2 rooms), but have stayed Deluxe at Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, Beach Club and Contemporary. My personal favorite is Poly, but WL is a very close second. Beach Club is great if you plan to spend time at the pool (its the best) and the World Showcase at Epcot ... very short walk.

Hey Jason, How are you? Hope your family is doing well. Yes, we finally decided on the WL in mid July, got a great deal plus the $750 gift card. We are so looking forward to WDW, because we haven't been in years. Yes, still in touch with the cruising gang, everybody is doing well. Take care and have fun planning.
