They better not put a $1500 hold on my card when I check in!! I don't plan on using my magic bands to pay, using cash or my credit/debit card, so I'll need that money available! So I would need to have an extra $1500 in my account for them to put a "hold" on? Geez, I didn't count on that....

They did not place any hold on our cards last week. They just told us that $1500 was our limit. We charged everything to the magic bands and settled with the concierge the night before we checked out. The money wasn't actually taken out of our account until about four days after we left, but there was a pending charge from the day we settled.

So excited!! Just booked the Frozen Package for Jeanne, Princess Lily and myself for July 19th. Lily will freak out!!!!!

Sailor boy the new greater from the Dark Side was over here yesterday I said hello to him twice and he just looked through me oh well . I 'm sorry but he just looks so out of place . I'm sure he a nice kid .
It was so good to see you again . By the way they are stepping up the crack down at SAB , checking for the colored wrist bands and they walk around every 15 / 20 minutes picking up towels wit no personal items . They also have CM's with counters counting how many people are in the pool.
Have a magical time with Jean and Lily just a few more days till there here

Last day here and it was positively perfect! Spent the am at SAB, had a
Treat at beaches and cream then took a nap. Went to MK this evening and repeated our 4 favorite rides (mine train, btmr, pirates and buzz light year). Did the dessert party for wishes and then saw the 11 electrical parade. Really a fantastic way to wrap up our trip!!!!

I have had heard conflicting opinions on whether the Wishes Dessert Party is worth the money. What is your take on it?

We did the Dessert Party last July, on our anniversary. Desserts were great, but really, it is sugar overload. This was our first time seeing Wishes (I know, Disney blasphemy) and it was worth it to us that we didn't have to fight with the crowds for a decent view.

I'll post the link to my trip report view of the dessert party in a minute.

I don't know if you want to remind people that if they are going to Animal Kingdom park, they can check out the Gardens Kiosk, which has snacks that some people with food sensitivities might be able to bring back to the hotel. I mention it because it's an easy option if someone is in that park anyway -- no additional transportation required. Here's the menu:

I'm pretty sure I also saw the gluten free cupcakes at the Boardwalk Bakery, but I can't swear on a Bible about it. That would be another snack that some people with food sensitivities could bring back to the hotel, no additional transportation required. Those are small cupcakes which come in a set, in a plastic container like you would get at the grocery store.

Have you looked at any of the photo links on the Concierge Post (Post 12, I think) on Page 1 of this thread? I think catho72 posted some pictures on this thread during/after her early June trip, so you can try searching for those.

Some of those pictures are Beach Club, but I believe the offerings are the same. I haven't been on the Concierge Thread lately, but I bet there are some pictures there.
