There IS a Disney gene!

Last night around 1 am I heard my 3 year old crying. She doesn't usually wake up in the middle of the night, so I went to check on her.
She was in her bed with tears pouring down her cheeks. I asked "Isobel, what's wrong?!"
And she sobbed,"I want to go to Disney World!"
"Well,baby, we can't go tonight."
And then she said in a tiny voice, so quiet I could hardly hear her, "I just miss Mickey Mouse so much!"
We went to Disney World last September. (And, if it can be afforded, will go this December).
Thought it was a cute story, and thought this would be the place to tell the story where it can be fully appreciated.

Super cute story. Oh it's definitely in the genes at my house. My son has been going to WDW since he was just 1 and he is now about to turn 11. At least once a week, he says something about Walt Disney World. We were somewhere recently and he said "Do you smell that? It smells just like Disney World!"

My second cousin does something like that every night. She's 2 and always asks before bed if she could go to Disney again to see the Princesses. And every night her dad tells her we will talk about it in the morning. Its so cute. For Easter she go a Cinderella doll the same size as her and as she was leaving her mom-moms house she asked if she could snuggle with it. She was in her car seat sitting with her Cinderella. I'm sure she slept with it all night.

Lucky for all of you, I am the only one with the Disney "gene" in my family. Everyone in my family thinks I'm crazy for going solo, or so often, or for wanting to meet the characters, etc.

We have considered just that very idea MANY times over the years.

That's why that "Mickey Bedroom" is so amazingly OVER-FULL.
We don't want the entire house to go over to the MOUSE-SIDE.

But at Christmas time... we can't HELP it!
