Wow I got a chill reading that. And I know all about those cars whizzing by on a freeway...not too long ago our van broke down with my family in it thank God we were able to pull over but everytime a truck went by our van shook, it was scary. It was 10pm and so dark, we need to get flares..so glad your angel rescued you.

I'm also teary-eyed reading this. I can feel your fear. This was such a bad situation, could have happened to any of us. I'm amazed that guy towed your van, he was a serious angel.

I know he wouldn't accept money. PLease consider writing a letter to the editor of your newspaper. I love to read letters where people thank their anonymous angel. Sometimes it feels really good to read about good people in the midst of the bad news.
