I know there is no money allowed to be exchanged or things to be sold on the DIS so I was wondering if anyone has a Belle dress that they would consider swaping with me. My daughter will be 3 soon and she fits into all the store costume dresses and she tells me that she wants a Belle dress. I do have a couple dresses that I might be able to part with in exchange. I don't have a Disney store by us...closest one is 3 1/2 hours away (Toronto) and I don't want to buy from the states as I would have to pay duty on it; so I thought that I would ask my fellow Canadians for help with my baby.

I live 15 minutes from the Vaughan Mills store and they know me by name!!!! Vaughan Mills store number is 905-760-7803 and the GM's name is Sean. I just checked online for Dinsey and they don't actually have the dress instock that I want. I would like to get her the bright yellow ball gown. I'm needing it in a size 3-4-5-6 somewhere in that area.

For any reason that you might stop in to the store and you see it there ...send me a PM and I will call them and see if I can have it delivered or pre paid to be given to you. By the way....I take it that you don't shop there much do you when the staff knows you by your name.

Lannah.....please remember that the stock they have in the on line store is completly different from the stock that they have in the stores. Especially in the canadian stores. I just bought my niece the ariel outfit in a size that is out of stock on the disney online store but the Vaughan mills store had a dozen. They were also marked down to 44.99cdn last week.
I am also assuming that you are looking for the more elaborate gown that they normally have around halloween instead of the summer one that they have right now.
I am heading to WDW in August and I know that they will have the really nice gown there. I am sure that we can work something out in "trade" if you have had no luck getting one by then.

I checked and even talked to them. They said that they haven't carried them since 2008 and that it doesn't look like they will have them in any time soon.

I have done a lot of telephone shopping with the Toronto Disney Stores over the last 15 yrs and I have found that late Aug and going into Sept is when all their costume come out for Halloween. The costumes are beautiful !!! They are a bit expensive (unlike the ones in other stores) but your little princess will adore it. I found it well worth the money !!! They do ship it to you, for a price and I have yet to be disappointed.

I work at a thrift store our little town, and went through the stored costumes last night. No Belle gowns right now, but if one pops up - I'll let you know!

I just got a great one at Zellers yesterday (the Belle one) and a whole set (all princesses) at Costco.. but have you tried Ebay?? I buy them all on ebay and you'll never get charged duty on it...

Thank you...I called Zellars and they don't have them instock so it looks like I might go for a drive to the next city over (Windsor) and check out Zellers there. Originally that's where I got her snow white one.
