I made my reservations for the restaurants I felt had a good theme to them. They are: Whispering Canyon, Coral Reef, SciFi, 50's Prime Time, Boma, Ohana' and Planet Hollywood. How'd I do? This is for family who has never been and I want to show them dinner with a little entertainment. Any suggestions. Thanks :goodvibes popcorn::

The Biegarten in Epcot....Germany is an excellent buffet and the entertainment is pretty good too......you sit at a table sometimes with other people and it is alot of fun.....
All of your choices sounds great to me .....

I have ADR's at all of the same restaurants as you so of course I think you made fabulous choices!!

Thank You both. I may end up throwing in GF Cafe' for breakfast and LTT for lunch. ;)

Great selection! I might toss Planet Hollywood and put in Biergarten, but I'm sure you can't go wrong, either way.

That may be something I just may do, since of all the ones I've mentioned me and my kids have been to, except for 50's. And I do like trying new places. So since we've never been to Biergarten I may just do that. But at the same time I don't mind the repeats, because I liked the food and they will be a first for my family. :goodvibes

Whispering Canyon-Lot's of un, great food.

Coral Reef-Never been as we're not big seafood people, but I hear it's great.

50's Prime Time-Just did this last summer. Excellent!!

Boma-Never been.

Ohana'-Never been but have wanted to try it.

Planet Hollywood-Well, it's ok. VERY loud and busy and it's just burgers etc...If you had to drop one for some reason, I'd drop that one. Or switch it for LTT, LTT is MUCH better!

Good choices!!

We found Planet Hollywood very loud. I know some people think it's a chain restaurant and not Disney enough... but my daughter always requests Rainforest Cafe! Ohana's is another favorite. Try to make reservations on a night with fireworks. You can see the lighted boat parade across the lagoon and the fireworks rom the diningroom. All your selections are great!

Thanks everyone!:) Just hoping my sis will be impressed. And bring home some great memories and bragging  to a husband who has also never been to Disney, but at the same time already doesn't like it. :sad2: On another note, I am dropping PH but I think we will just do EOS for some great sandwiches and this will still give her a chance to see DTD. :goodvibes

You don't have any character meals for a family that's never been I'd think you'd have at least one. Chef Mickey's has a broad selection and old school characters. The meal at 1900 PF would be a nice way to see The Grand Floridian (unless of course you're already staying there).

I decided to skip those since this will be a more adult crowd. Except for DD who will be 11 and has enough character pics and interaction for now. :lmao:
