Theme rooms @ CBR

Just wondering if anyone has been to CBR & stayed in the new pirate rooms? Are they worth the extra $$$$ to stay? Trying to decided which resort to book for Christmas trip this. Any info would be great -Thanks

My opinion is YES!

We went in April, and stayed in a Pirate room...it totally rocked! We felt like the Disney experience didn't just "end" at the hotel room door, kwim?

In contrast, my Mom just had a "regular" CBR room, and we both felt the decor was "ok" but, hey! We could do it ourselves at home! The only "Dis factor" were the bedspread and the wallpaper border....which is readily available in stores, imho....otherwise it was "just" a hotel room....nothing to write home about.

In a pirate room, everything from the carpet (wooden shipboard floor pattern) to the shower wall (carved Black Pearl on the wall), and everything in-between was Disney and Pirate!

Even the beds felt special....and they were very comfy too!

They look so cool, I am thinking of booking a night or two next year when we go in Oct, we will be staying a week offsite in our new timeshare and will need to add a couple of days to the trip as we always go for at least 10days

Pirate Room was great. It was very cool. Very well done. It definitely got my 4 year old excited and in the mood!
Go for the theme room for sure.
