Hello!

My GF and I are going to Orlando December 14th-21st this year. We have 4 disney tickets (single park admission) and 2 Universal ticket (single park admission). Our favorite parks are Magic Kindom and the 2 Universal Parks. Do you recommending doing those 3 first, early in the week? I'm thinking Saturday Decemeber 20th will be the worst day crowd wise we are there so we were thinking doing Animal Kingdom Saturday and Downtown Disney that night.

Any advice/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

See if you can upgrade one of your Universal tickets to a park hopper so you can ride the Harry Potter train ride between the two parks.

If the Universal Crowd Calendar is correct, I would go there first. It goes from busy on the 14th to very busy the rest of the month. That is the day I am planning to spend there as of right now.

Yeah I bought the tickets before I realized that, but I'll probably contact them and see if I can upgrade it. Of course Universal Studios is going to be busier than it would have been this time last year too.

We will be there Dec. 12th-26th. Our 6th trip in 7 years around those dates. The dates you have picked are great dates to go! You get all the holiday magic before the crazy crowds roll in!

I also recommend doing Universal at the start of you trip. With the new HP expansion open the 15th-16th are your best bets for crowds. For the other days we always pick the Easywdw recommended park for the day and crowds are light that week if you pick the right park. You could also attend one of the MVMCP to really get your MK fix.

We have a different view of the MVMCP. We don't do it for the characters, parade and fireworks. While everyone else is jammed into Main Street for that stuff all the rides are walk on! You can literally ride every ride 3 times over the course of the night.

Thanks for the advice! It is my first trip since 2007 and first the the GF since she was a kid! I like your strategy for MVMCP...I think we will do the same. Thanks!
