We’re staying BCV June 1 through 10 with a firm party of six. My daughter is still uncertain if her summer internship will allow her to join us. She won’t find out until a few days in advance.

Does anyone have experience with obtaining a park reservation for a last-minute guest? I’m getting conflicting opinions from Member Services. One of them assured me that they hold aside a few reservations for resort guests in my daughter’s situation if the park is otherwise sold out.

Does anyone have any direct experience with this situation?

I don’t have direct experience. However, I don’t think the parks are likely to book up during your dates, so it likely won’t be a problem. I’m assuming you won’t buy her ticket until you know whether she can come or not.

We had this situation in Julne a few years ago. A friend joined us a few weeks out for our trip and HS was sold out every day of the trip so couldn’t get her one for what we had booked.

When we arrived, they couldn’t help and we ended up only being able visit via park hopping

Correct. We’re not buying her admission until she’s sure she can come. I figure worst-case scenario she can enjoy a different park in the morning and hop over at 2 pm.

The morning of your park day often has availability that wasn’t there the night before as folks rearrange plans. Just check back and refresh a few times. Especially if you are adding one person rather than a whole group.

Great idea! Thanks.
