Hello everyone, I'm just planning our attack on the parks but i just can't please everyone(2 kids 6&9 plus the wife) so i would love some feedback, . arrive wednesday mid-afternoon, thursday I.O.A. friday magic kingdom- sat-epcot, sun-free, mon-universal studios, tues- sea world, weds- free, thurs-animal kingdom, fri- m.g.m, sat -free, sun- free, mon-busch gardens, tues-free, wednesday return home. please help!!!!!

Hi Kev

You may find on your first day that IOA is a bit much (just my opinion). We find we are usually up at the crack of dawn and start to get seriously tired around mid afternoon. We usually find Seaworld a good first day - the pace is less frantic. You also get a 2nd day free which lets you come back to see anything you were too tired for the first time around.

A lot of people also plump for AK on the first day - it opens early and you should get a lot done before tiredness sets in.

It's good that you've built some 'free' days into your schedule- you will need them!! (especially if you like to shop!)

Mine's looking like:

Friday- Arrive mid pm, fill up villa with beer & bbq supplies

Sat- Annimal Kingdom, siesta, light parade MK

Sun- International Drive/Old Town

Mon- IOA

Tue- Blizzard Beach

Wed- Magic Kingdom

Thu- MGM

Fri- Universal

Sat- EPCOT

Sun- Magic Kingdom (may change if crowded)

Mon- Seaworld

Tue- Typhoon Lagoon

Wed- Busch Gardens

Thu- Universal/IOA

Fri- Shopping then to the Airport

.... Its a bit knackering but we're determined to go to IOA at least twice & MK. Add to that 2 days in the water parks and our 2 weeks are full!!!

Hi Kev,

I'd agree with Mpet, IOA is a full on Roller Coaster type place and maybe a bit much considering you will be recovering from Jetlag and a 9 hour flight. I'd go with Seaworld as well, plenty to do and see but also a lot of it spent sitting down in shows etc.

IMHO I wouldnt travel out to Busch Gardens (although there'll be others who disagree with this one) unless you particualrly want to see this park, save it for your next trip when you have seen all the Parks Disney and Universal have to offer. Its probably not worth the hour drive when there's so much else to see. Save a day to revisit your favorite park instead. All IMHO of course.

Have fun !

Martin

Use one of the free afternoons to visit a water park. I'd recommend Typhoon Lagoon.
