I must say I was very impressed with almost all the CM's at the parks....I hadn't been there for about thirty years ( as a child) and only remember it as a child...so I saw the majic from a different perspective this time around.
The good CM encounters included: gettting let in even after the Fastpass had expired, helpfull directions from almost everyone I asked ( cleaners, cart attendants, transportation, store clearks..you name it!
While eating in MK in a restaurant ( near Aerial's Grotto) I forgot to get a milkwith my order and the CM said, here you go..don't worry about it! I insisted ,he said really don't worry about it , I said ok ,trying to be grateful and not make a sceen
this happened again
at my hotel...the banana I bought was a little tired/beatten up.. so the CM said..I won't charge you for that one...
I was like wow...they do have a conciuncious ! and they are not robots..you go disneym however I also thought...they probably make so much profi, it's nothing to them...lol
I did run into a few , let's say less then enthisiastic CM's though..one in the DIs Philharmonic..ripped a pair of 3d glasses out of my toddlers hand after the show...we took them as a souveneir because my son just would not let go of them.. I was a little surprised...not to mention the look on his fast when he did it...
and the other was a CM at the MGM park...right in the front...I was initially being helped by a patient young lady...when another CM jumped in and barked out a bunch of answers...I actually told the other one...I appreciated her taking her time and NOT rushing me along like her co-worker...lol
at MGM...the food service was a joke ...i was near the star wars ride I think it was...took 20 minutes to get a hot dog...and the food services people , they were like walking dead people, with slight attitudes, and didn't know how to handle the back log of orders....
In all...though I was very please by the magical treatment!
I realize I went in the heat of summer....pun intended...and that my next trip which will be at a very off time say, 1st wk of Dec....should be alot less hectic because of the reduced crowds....
