theme or by like

Okay, we had an interesting discussion in line today. Lady behind me collects only snow white pins and mickey and walt pins.
I collect whatever pins I like, no theme just what strikes me.

So we were discussing which is easier and which is cheaper.


What do you think ?
Theme or character or just whatever comes along or I suppose you could also go for everything that comes out

Cheaper? Easier? I'm not sure. More frustrating, of that I'm sure!

I collect princesses, mickey & minnie, daisy, and WDW attractions/resorts/restaurants. For the princesses, mickey, minnie & daisy, I only like full figures and the characters by themselves.

Well . . . what do you do when months go by and there are no pins released that fall into your defined "collection?" Frustration!

I guess it must be cheaper because there are so few to buy that suit me. It's certainly not easier. But then, if you enjoy collecting because of the challenge of finishing a set or find that one really old pin . . . This would be great!

I collect whatever I like, ESPECIALLY patriotic or Mickey Mouse Club pins. For me, it's too difficult to collect entire sets or stay with one theme.

Good Question... I started out collecting Pins. Every Pin!!! well after I got to 2000 pins I had to slow down. I now go after certain pins. I have a lot of the LE 1000 pins and such but my main focus now is Holiday (Xmas) and Disneyana Convention pins. I do still get others like the CM POM from WDW that I am making in to a set. But I have really narrowed my quest for certain pins.

I am very particular about what I collect.. I will only collect pins that have a pointy thing on the back.

Seriously though.. I don't have a theme.. I just collect whatever I like!
