Hi everyone.

I have so far done two Disney cruises, both on the Dream on the same itinerary, 4 nights from Port Canaveral.

From both of these cruises, I'm aware that the 3rd night is Pirate night and you stay in the same restaurant as the previous evening but with a different themed menu as part of the rotational dining.

I have two further cruises booked, both 4 nights. The first is from New York to Saint John in Canada in October on the Magic for Halloween (although it's a couple of weeks before) and the second is from Galveston TX to Cozumel, Mexico on the Wonder On a very merrytime cruise.

Would these two cruises follow the same pattern for the rotational dining with a themed night repeating the previous nights restaurant all be it with a different menu? If so, does it happen on the 3rd night again? Would the theme also be a pirate night or a different theme?

I'm asking as I have not been on either of these ships and do not want to miss a new theme should I go for a Palo reservation etc. Thanks in advance.

Have a magical day!

As a guideline, I look at old Personal Navigators from the same or similar cruises. The best source for old Navigators is disneycruiselineblog.com. From that site, I found:

4 Night Canadian Coastline from NYC.

This one was a DVC member cruise and doesn't have the HotHS, but it is a 4 night cruise. The site does have a 5 night Canadian Coastline cruise with the HotHS. Based on the 4 night DVC cruise, there is a Pirate night on the 3rd night.

4 Night Very Merrytime cruise from Galveston to Cozumel

On this one, the Pirate night is the 2nd night.

As with stocks, past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. But I think these old Navigators can give you a reasonable idea of what to expect.

Yes, disneycruiseline blog is the best information on past cruise activities and schedules. Be aware, there are no pirates in Alaska.

Thank you for that. DCL have now announced on one of the cruises pirate night. On a 4 night cruise, I assume this will be a 'repeat' restaurant like on the 4 night Caribbean? Is the menu in Palo also themed for pirate night, or is it standard Palo menu for that night?

Count on the theme night to be Pirate night for both of your cruises. The only time we have had an "alternative" theme has been when sailing somewhere that doesn't allow fireworks (Alaska, Northern Europe). If you look in your reservation at the day-by-day itinerary it will show what day has a ship scheduled activity (Pirate night). It is typically a port day, not a sea day. So not looking at your itinerary for each of the cruises, can't tell you exactly which night you should expect pirate night.

As for Palo, we typically go on Pirate night and it is the standard Palo menu; no theme menus in Palo.
