Does anyone know if the Magic still has theme nights? The 2003 Passporter lists nights like Tropicaliblahblahblah, Supercaliblahblahblah, and "Best of" nights. Here's my understanding of the rundown of the dining rooms on the 7 night.

Night 1 - "main" menu for that dining room,
Night 2 - "main" menu for that dining room, formal night
Night 3 - "main" menu for that dining room
Night 4 - Pirate Night
Night 5 - ???
Night 6 - Captain's Gala/Semi-Formal Night
Night 7 - ???

Thanks!

Pirate night has replaced tropicali/mexicali. They still had the "best of" menu and whatever the other one was.....

That wasn't how it was for us on the June 25th cruise. Night 2 was the Golden Mickey menu in all dining rooms, and it was formal night. Night 5 was the third rotational menu night. The last night was "Til we meet again" which I think was a best of menu.

On Western cruises the Formal night is on Monday, your first at sea day.

Today DCL told my travel agent that the dress/theme nights were entirely at the captian's discretion (she had specifically called to see if formal/semi-formal/pirate were ALWAYS the same day of the week). I had assumed they were based on posts I had read, till one day someone mentioned their formal night being on a different day of the week (than the anticipated Monday night).

Well, we all know the 'official' word from a cast member can be incorrect or they can be mis-informed. Maybe they got tired of people requesting specific dining rotations because they wanted Parrot Cay to fall on Pirate night, or Luminere's on Formal night :confused3

I know I've seen a list of which 'dress-theme' falls on each night and maybe it's accurate for most cruises.

As far as the actual nightly menu themes......I know nothing.
