AGGHHH!!! So much to do!!

It's already Saturday and I haven't come close to packing yet. I've been doing laundry all morning, cleaning the house. For some reason every time I go on vacation I have to clean before I leave so I have a perfect house to come home too.

Still need to get air in tires, new air filter for the engine, new windshield wipers (just in case)....

I have a big hockey game to go watch tonight, my Coyotes are taking on the New York Rangers. The building is sold out, should be an awesome matchup.

Lots to do...lots to do.
Usually I never worry so much when I go to CA, but this is a long trip, and I always forget something.

I have some pictures my mom gave me from she was a kid at disney, this picture was taken ...I believe in 1965, of her and her brother on the flying saucers! HOW COOL!!

I love the eye swirls. I'm an all-around fan of face paiting to begin with, but usually only get it when they offer it at the Sharks home openers (silly photo with a sparly shark on my face is still my Facebook photo and has been since October 9).

The pphoto of your mom makes me wonder if any of my parents have any photos from Disneyland when they were kids. I would sure love to see them if they do.

OK So I am trying to stay up as late as I can tonight so I can sleep LATE tomorrow. OR at least be tired enough to go to bed at 5pm so I can wake up by midnight or so to be on the road by 1:30am! I know I am crazy but it is all in the name of Disneyland!!!

I am all packed and I have some snacks ready for the drive down and some soda and Monster!

Be on the look out for exciting stuff!!!!!!

I'm sure Kim is fast asleep by now...I am having a hard time sleeping, still running around getting things together!! I hate doing that, but I'm neroutic.

The plan is to wake up at 1:45 AZ time to get ready to leave, and meet for breakfast at 7AM CA time. The weather here today was awesome, hoping it stays that way into the week in CA.

We will be updating our TR live, (I'll have my laptop with me). I'll try to take pics of crowds, etc.....

OK so I am soooooooooo excited! I wasnt planning on getting up till 12:30am but I laid down at around 6:30 pm and have slept off and on since then so I am sooo ready to go!!!! Just need to get in the shower and then I will be on my way around 1:30am!!!! YAY!!!! Jenn should be getting soon too. Let the Disneyland fun begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made it!

We both were close to rolling into town just before 7AM and than we both hit traffic... I knew that was going to happen. I hit more of it than Kim...there was a really nasty accident on the 91, just before the 57...

We went for breakfast at Mimi's Cafe. We had free breakfast coupons, so breakfast for the two of us cost $6.00 (that's how much we left for the tip!)
Kim had the bacon, eggs, and toast with orange juice.
I had the Bacon and Swiss quiche, with home fries and orange juice. It was delicious!

we decided to head over to the hotel to see if we could check in really really early...at 8:30AM!! They said YES! It was that slow, here is a pic of our room. It matched the pics on their website, and let me tell you as I lay on the bed, I can barely keep my eyes open, so comfortable.

We finally made it to the park at about 10:30AM, to NO CROWDS!!!! Every single ride we went on today we had no wait except for Indy, and BTMRR, and tops it was 25 min...AWESOME!! Here is a pic of main street at 4PM

The weather was a bit warm today, it was tshirt weather, but got really cold as the sun started to set.

We didn't even wait at all for Space Mount..can you believe it!!!??!!!

We decided to check out and see if Capt. EO was up and working, here is the current progress on the outside. It looks like the paint, and lights are up, new TV screens...looks like finishing touches.

okay guys, it's a quickie..because it's only 7PM and I'm getting ready for bed. Kim is sitting here watching Seinfield! More tomorrow!!

Mimi's is the best! I just love their pot roast for dinner, and their bread and corn chowder make my mouth water.

I can't believe the lack of crowds, how lucky for you gals! I wonder if I'll be so lucky at the end of the year.... My kids will love Captain EO, they're pretty big MJ fans.

I love Mimi's too...I've only gone for breakfast, I haven't yet tried lunch or dinner.

Pot Roast sounds really good. Kim has another coupon for $10 off any $20 dollar purchase, so I would imagine we will be over there today for lunch or dinner...looking forward too it.


well, we are up bright and early after 11 hours of sleep!! LOL

I'll post more pics this evening when we return.

Sorry we haven't checked with ya! It's been a crazy week, can't wait to share with you all...

here are some teasers in the last few days...we had a run in with the CHP, a taxi driver, we were able to go only where a few people are allowed to go...LOL
