The4OfUs...."Romantic Escape at Sea" Pkg

Thank you so much for the information! Now I know for sure that I will order the package! I had been thinking about it, but wasn't sure if it was worth the money. Now I know better!:p

Rae - Thanks for the kind words and of course the same back at you. You must really be getting hyped by now!!!!. Just did our final shopping over the week-end. I think we are all set except for packing.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Heading out to Lake Perris tomorrow camping for the weekend. Nice to have a couple of days off and delivered my last Tax return of the season to my wifes Aunt (Aunt-in-law?) last weekend.
Leave some Shrimp for us please(LOL). - Mike

CAMickey - packing? Packing? Ohhhh, my! I guess this is NOT a "clothing optional" cruise!!!!

Generally question to all about their REAS package- are you keeping this a secret from your spouse/significant other?!!

I am!

I know he will think something is up when we don't start the Ressie 500 but my lips are sealed!!!!

Hugs,
Rae

I am not keeping it a secret from my spouse. I wanted the romance to begin now and build up for the cruise.

Rae - The clothes are needed for the excursions (Well except for certain bars at Key West at night). Otherwise we just plan on going au natural on the ship. This is allowed - isn't it? Don't like lugging suitcases around. - Mike

Tee hee hee!

You just crack me up, Mike!

Can you choose to have the brunch instead of the dinner @ Palo's if you purchase the REAS? Thanks for the info ahead of time!

I am sure you can change - but why not take both?

Rae

I really like the idea of this package, unfortuately, NO significate other, I don't count my sister. Who is also interested in package (also significate-otherless). We like the EARLY, possible multiple, ressie idea, the spa treatment idea, special breakfast. Basically we don't need the rose petal!;) Anyone else consider being silly enough to buy the package anyway?:earseek: Disney presently has NO other package option, unless you have "family - couple" thing happening. :(

What day or days is the brunch offered on the Eastern? What about the High Tea? What time do they start? Thanks everybody--

THe brunch is offered during days at sea on the Eastern it is on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday, I think that it starts at 10:30 a.m.
I believe that high tea is on the same days.

I don't really like the dinner menu. :worried: Sorry, I'm just a little picky. But all of the food on the brunch looks AWESOME! I would be willing to get the REAS package if I can substitute the brunch for the dinner.

I have said the same thing - I lived in northern Italy for many years and miss some of the traditional Northern Italian foods that I came to love. I don't think that's being picky either - just not into haute cuisine!!

The brunch is fantastic!

I'm in the same boat (so to speak). I've looked over the Palo menu and aside from dessert I found 2 things that look appealing - the rest just isn't at all either due to personal taste or allergies. Unfortunately we're doing the 4 day and I don't believe they have a Palo brunch on that cruise :(

The dinner menu at Palo never looks all that good to me either, but I had the specials each time we dined there, and trust me, it is worth it. The last time I had a wonderful halibut on a mashed potato mound and spinach saute. It was heavenly. There are a couple specials every night, and since the food is made to order they could leave out whatever you may dislike or be allergic to. It is also so much food and so many courses you could get a combo of any and make a meal.

Yahoo! That would be fantastic. I'm allergic to seafood, and can't handle strong spices/flavors. Subtle is good, and I didn't see too much that was subtle on the Palo dinner menu!

We're booked for summer 2005, hopefully they'll have the brunch then!

I was not sure if this was posted here or not yet but I made my REAS reservations for my Jan 2005 cruise and the price of the REAS is now $339.00. Nothing new was added to the package. Inflation is high on the Disney Cruise, he he. That is over a 13% increase. I still booked it, it still seems worth it.

I just called DVC and was told by CM that you can't use your DVC points to book the REAS. Price also is 339.00 now till 12/05. I have recieved invaluable info here on this offer from all of you. I am going to surprise my DW for our 25th aniversary in May on the last PC cruise for the summer. Looking forward to seeing or talking to other DIS going. Be safe!!!!
