Evelyn: She spent most of the morning making sure June was okay and exercising.

Jay and Clint: It was about three and they arrived back in New York. Natasha drove them home.

Jay: After dropping off his stuff in his room, he went straight to Hope's room. "Hey I'm back! Oh my gosh... Hope?"

Mike: 'It's not looking good."

Hope: Her skin was pale, eye less vibrant. "Hi darlin'."

Bruce: He ran in with a drug concoction. "I think this will do it!" He put it into her system. He waited with bated breath.

Hope: It didn't appear to be working. She just felt heavier, more tired.

Bruce: He knew. And he was angry. "No! Why is is it not working? I tested it! It should be perfect! Why? What have I done to deserve this? This is my only daughter, darn it, my only child!" His eyes were looking green.

Hope: "I'm going, aren't I?"

Bruce: The green left his eyes, his shoulders slumped. "Oh, Hope..."

Bruce: "Maybe there's something else. I need to go back to the lab!" He ran off.

Hope: "I'm so sorry Jay."

Raven: “Hope? It’s me.”

Hope: “Come in Raven.”

Raven: Raven came in with her guitar over her shoulder. She smiled. “Hey Hope. Remember when you were complaining that you never got to see me in concert?”

Hope: Hope bit her lip, then she seemed to remember and smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I remember.” She frowned. “I still haven’t been able to see you in concert.”

Raven: Raven laughed. “And I said that when I wrote some music for you, I’d play it for you. Well, this won’t be the full glory of a concert, but I did promise I’d perform for you. Most of it’s mine, or well, Carmen Murray me’s, although I did borrow a couple songs.”

She situated her guitar and tuned it before she started to play. Raven also sang, and her voice was so pretty and emotional and almost like a well-tuned instrument itself. You could tell she was an experienced performer and her singing was far superior to Hope’s singing.
