The young and young at heart

One of the things a respect most about Disney is that EVERYONE is important and gets treated equal (ideally most of the time). Most families with kids live life with the assumption that all adults are there to cater to children. There is the believe that adults should just stand back and let the kids enjoy things. I am sure that some people are actually offended that characters spend as much time with adult travelers as they do with families with kids. Chucky Cheese is exclusively for children but Disney is for everyone to enjoy. Everyone has paid an expensive admission for the true Disney experience. Both the young and young at heart.

I had a mother push her kids in front of me at a Parade. I saw that the kids didn't really want to be in my way and were embarassed by their mother.

I said to the kids, don't worry, you can sit in front of me and tell me who you see coming in the parade so I can take pictures. I wasn't going to make the kids feel bad for their mother's behavior but I felt like screaming "I PAID MY MONEY TO BE HERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!"

In other cases I saw some parents saying "don't cut in line, that couple was here first and would you mind if my kids sit at your feet for the parade if they promise to be quiet and not block your view?"

I always say yes because they didn't assume that it was ok.

I loved our trip to the World as an adult couple and I am very happy that the CM's make you feel special even if you don't have kids.

Disney is for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The parades have been a big complaint of some parents. I will be waiting for an hour for the parade to start and some parent will come out of nowhere just before the parade is to start and push their way to the front (not a big deal) but they are almost angry that "adults" have taken a spot to watch the parade when it is for THEIR children to watch not me.
