TUESDAY US SPOILER!!!
Victor told Phyllis they want Luca out of Summer’s life. He wanted them to work together. Jack arrived. Victor wanted them to put aside their petty differences aside. Phyllis bristled. Victor advised Phyllis to keep her temper in check or she'd alienate Summer and left. Phyllis told Jack that Summer was engaged. Phyllis said she’d rather die than see Summer married to Luca. No way was that wedding happening. She said Summer’s wedding to Austin shouldn't have happened. She wouldn’t let Summer make that mistake again. Jack wanted Phyllis to let Summer marry Luca to avoid alienating her. Summer made her own choices. Phyllis called Luca a two-headed snake. Jack said Summer had to make her own mistakes. Phyllis said she’d do the right and smart thing and guide Summer through her wedding. Jack kissed her and left.
Luca suggested they get married at City Hall right away. Summer wanted the dress and flowers and to be surrounded by family. Luca asked if she thought they’d come. She knew her family wouldn’t leave her alone on that day. She said Phyllis seemed okay with it. Luca said he spoke to Victor who hoped they’d be happy. Luca wanted to make arrangements, but Summer had something to take care of.
Phyllis asked Luca if the pregnancy scare prompted their engagement. He agreed. Phyllis told him about Austin, and how Summer was hurt finding out Austin wasn’t who she thought he was. Luca said Nick told him stand by Summer when they thought she was pregnant. Summer arrived and asked what Phyllis was saying to Luca. Phyllis advised that Luca talked like a man in love. Summer said Victor was on board. She knew she wanted to wait until she could put everything together and wanted Phyllis’ help in planning the wedding. Phyllis left and outside the door called Victor. She said the wedding was on a fast track to hell and they needed to work together to stop it.
Lily helped Mattie and Charlie create a family tree. Jill arrived and made a few suggestions. Neil arrived and was impressed with their tree. Charlie mentioned Neil’s parents and wondered why he never spoke about them. Lily said Neil could at least give their names. Lily asked Neil about his parents and Neil avoided an explanation. Lily persisted and Neil said his dad raised him more than his mother and after college they drifted apart. Lily and the kids are all the family he needed. Lily wanted him to move past what alienated him from his parents and to find them. He had no desire to find his parents and felt they don’t belong in each other’s lives and he’s at peace with that.
Vicky presented her marketing idea for B&S and told Billy to close his eyes and imagine what she was presenting. Billy imagined the whole vision with Phyllis as the model. Vicky called him, but he was still imagining kissing Phyllis in that vision. Billy liked her idea and continued their discussion when Cane arrived. He asked why Billy was discussing this with Vicky. Billy advised that Vicky is part of the team. Cane welcomed her. He knew Jill was behind this. Cane didn’t think they needed another executive. Cane said he liked his marketing plan because millions of women watched sports. Jill arrived. They all objected that Jill was manipulating them. Jill said the three of them thrived on competition and this was how they paid tribute to Katherine and CI. She was ready to take on Jabot and NE. No more divided loyalties. Vicky left to take her last foot out of NE. Later, Billy told Cane that in spite of what Jill wanted, he and Vicky were not getting back together. Billy said he’d moved on. Cane asked who he’d moved on with. Billy asked why Cane cared about his personal life. Cane understood what Jill was doing. He said what mattered most was family.
Summer asked Victor if he was okay about her marrying Luca. Victor said she had always supported him and he’d always support her. Victor said he felt no one was good enough for his children. Vicky arrived and Summer told her about her engagement. Vicky congratulated her. Summer left. Vicky said she knows that he, Phyllis and Nick were not enthused. She asked what was really going on. He said he stood by Summer and she was free to make her own choices. She wanted the rest of her things to make it official. Vicky said she didn’t believe Victor was good about Summer’s engagement and left. After she left Victor seemed heartbroken.
Jill joined Jack at the bar and told him Vicky was working at B&S. Jill asked about Summer’s engagement. He said Phyllis went on a tear about Luca, but Phyllis seemed to see his point of view. Jill says she knew Phyllis wanted her marriage to work. Jack said something felt strange like Phyllis was trying too hard.
