Paul was in the same position when Patty was pointing guns. He went out of his way to protect her. But he shoots Ricky? Hopefully he wont do it. Maybe Ricky goes to jail. Either way, I will be sad to see him go. Ricky was a great character. I hate what they did to him.

Paul arrives at Ricky's place only to find him ready to kill Eden, as we saw in the Promo.
In an attempt to save Eden Paul accidentally kills his son.
He only means to wound him but the impact of the gun shot sends Ricky through a window.
Paul is in shock when the police arrive to question him. Eden backs up Paul's story.
Paul's guilt leads him to visit Ricky's mother Isabella but when he arrives, she is totally out of it.
While he is visiting Isabella, Michael declares him a fugitive because he failed to let the cops know he was leaving town. Also, the firearm that Paul used is Lauren's gun, which leads to Michael covering up for his wife.
Michael tells Lauren to keep quiet.
Paul has a long road of ahead of him, on top of guilt, he has to deal with legal ramifications of his actions.

LauraLee Bell did a podcast last night. She said Cricket will return on 7/6 and mentioned there will be courtroom scenes and "massive showdowns" between Phyllis and Christine.

Abby: The kidnapped Naked Heiress contacts Ashley, confessing it was all a ruse. Ashley demand that her daughter heads home, but Abby refuses. Seems as though Ms. Newman is digging life on the road with Carmine!

Abby has yet to contact her family despite the fact they are worried sick about her and have authorities looking for her. It seems in the end though guilt is starting to kick in but will she make the call??

Daniel is arrested because of the e-mail, Michael puts Heather in charge as he must distance himself from this case. Heather and Avery face off when Heather holds off questioning Daniel until morning

Kevin is getting very worried for Eden who is not taking his calls. Meanwhile, Paul confronts his son who tries his best to get rid of him. Ricky thinks he's in the clear, tries to kill Eden but gets caught

Paul and Ricky end up facing off, Ricky admits he killed his girlfriend, Craig and is responsible for what happened to Daisy. Ricky says he has nothing to live for, its Paul's fault. Ricky pushes Paul to shoot him, Paul does and he falls out the window!!

Next - Abby drools over Carmine* ; Paul deals with the aftermath of shooting his own son ; Ronan tells Heather that Michael is lucky to have her as the A.D.A.

In the latest Soap Opera Digest there is an article entitled "Abby Confesses".... Abby calls Ashley to tell her that her kidnapping was a ruse to divert attention from the failed gala. Ashley is angry, however, Abby doesn't want to return home because of the growing attraction between her and Carmine. Abby flirts with Carmine.. It seems to work because Carmine suggest Abby lie next to him where they end up falling asleep. Dapper is quoted in SOD saying its a really cute scene. Later, Abby tells all to Carmine, leaving him wondering why does Abby want to continue to stay.

Its the next morning and Paul is in LA at psych ward trying to tell Isabella about Ricky (we see her from the back combing her hair)

I like having Ricky around...he spiced things up and he was way creepy....and poor Paul...he is a wreck...but why is it that these guys who want kids so bad turn out to be dead beat dads. Why the heck did he leave Ricky with his Grandparents....

And what is this about Sharon having a brain tumor??? Good Lord not that! and why is she acting like a dip...she has gotten this attitude like she is the Queen of the Newmans....

So is Adam sincerely in love with Chelsea or is he up to no good again?

We have been without lower since Friday night. In 103degree heat! Theyre saying it will be until July 7 before we have power back so I probably won't be posting much this week. Keep your fingers crossed for us in southwest Virginia.

That's awful! We were without power for two weeks after Hurricane Ike. I toughed it out for the first week, but after that, I fled to DC to visit friends. Friends with electricity and A/C....... Here's hoping you get power sooner rather than later.

Thanks! All this was due to a wind storm Friday night. 81mph gusts. My DS14 has severe asthma. His inhalers wasn't doing the trick, so I had no choice. We checked into a hotel this afternoon. Its not the best choice but at least it has A/C and free wifi! They are working hard to restore the power. 27,000 of us are without power in my city alone.
