Can I interrupt this thread for a sec? I have to share a story with you!

I'm a children's librarian in a public library and I put together a new program. I needed a snappy title. I was hanging out here and saw this thread come up and BAM! Inspiration hit! So I called the program, The Young and the Restless!

I bet you want to know what the program is about, right? It's a 30 minute music and movement class designed to get little 2-4 year olds up and moving. Get it? :teeth: so Thanks!!

That is the perfect name for your show :cutie: have fun :good vibes

As for Victor knowing her mother...of course he does....Stupid Victor :headache:

Lauren and Michael try to find out the truth behind Kevin and Angelina's marriage. Lauren gets suspicious after talking to Angelina, realizes her conscience is getting the best of her. Kevin says its too late for Angelina to help him
Jill tells Neil that Genevieve was here for the wedding, she was in tears but she didn't get a chance to talk to her. The rest speak about Genevieve as well, Neil says Genevieve appears tough but knows this is hitting her hard
Nikki notices Anita missing an earring, the earring was left at the ranch when Victor had her thrown out. Nikki doesn't notice the earring when she returns home, Victor continues to lie to her. Nikki continues to believe his lies
Billy was right about Chelsea, she was faking her pregnancy scare. Billy takes Victoria out for a Valentine's surprise. Meanwhile, Anita is through doing things Victor's way will now do things her way!

Next - Jack hangs up on Genevieve ; Adam continues to push Sharon away ; Anita continues to call the shots with Chelsea

That is funny! As soon as I saw her standing there I started singing "Think of Laura" but I had no idea it was the same spot.

I loved the Luke and Laura storyline.

Me too! How I wish they would show those old episodes on Soap Net!!!

Soap net is going away sometime this year.
I must be days behind watching my TiVo. The show just doesn't get me excited anymore. I loved how Ricky told Paul off, but I could swear Isabella died. This must have heppened after the Y&R book was published, because I checked it last week and it had nothing about the whole Isabella/Michael/Paul/Cricket story in it....

Adam continues to struggle with his blindness, he keeps pushing Sharon to leave and finally succeeds in doing so. Sharon goes back home
Victor finds out from Katherine that Genevieve is in Paris so he decides to use her vulnerability to his advantage to get Beauty of Nature
Jack is bitter against Genevieve, looks to see if he has a case against her because she saw his bid before the sale. He learns he does
Billy gets Chelsea to open upto him about her mother, confirms his suspicion that Anita is full of BS. Billy tries to get to Anita
Nikki tries to convince Victoria that Victor is innocent. Victoria doesn't buy it. Nikki is in for a rude awakening when she finds Anita's earring

Next - Nikki confronts Anita ; Victor meets Genevieve ; Hope visits Adam

I have to work so if Soap Net goes off the air, I won't be able to watch it  But then the way it is going, that may not be a bad thing :lmao:

Victoria's new job puts her at odds with her father
I have a feeling Gen offers her a job at BON!!!

Jack starts a grueling set of physical therapy

Patti reveals a secret that could destroy Adam

Phyllis visits her dying father

Daisy's release from prison could set off a tragic chain of events things are about to get interesting!

Moving on.

The Associated Television International (ATI), which has produced the Daytime Emmy Awards since 2009, has decided not to do so this year.

President Jim Romanovich posted on Twitter stating, "Regretfully, we have today officially passed on doing The Daytime Emmys for television this year. As fans of the soaps in particular, as well as being Daytime producers ourselves, we have immensely enjoyed being a part of your celebration these past three years. In 2009, there was not going to be a Daytime Emmys for television, as you know. It was over. we felt it was important for it to continue on television for as long as possible to give actors, producers, writers and so forth the night of recognition they so deserve. It wasn't always easy. In fact, it was quite challenging on many levels. Although it was never a money making project for us, it was prestigious, first and foremost, plus we wanted to do something important for the Daytime community. I would like to think in some small way we have contributed in the interest of the Daytime soap formula being created beyond television as we're now seeing through various online ventures, such as what Prospect Park had tried to do, and series currently thriving on the web."

"But now is the time for the next generation of Daytime Emmys that should be more practical in execution. I would venture a guess that the very thing I had been discussing for several years, the internet, will play heavily into this year's celebration. As the impact of technology accelerates exponentially year to year, watching a very intimate Daytime Emmys on the internet is where this was ultimately going to be. With that being said, CBS did want it again as well as two cable networks for second runs. Creatively this year, we were planning to do a more intimate Golden Globes style production to include a tribute to "One Life To Live" that really was going to be a souvenir to the Daytime fans.

Unfortunately, we are in production for two very big series for two different networks which will be announced in the next two weeks. In addition to these shows, we have another fourteen on the schedule through 2012 that will be taking up much of our focus."

"But you are a part of what we do and although we are no longer part of the Daytime Emmys, we will always be a part of the soap world and will continue to develop projects that promotes the genre."

"We want to thank NATAS and the entire Daytime community for giving us this opportunity and we wish all of them the very best. I have no doubt the awards night will be most memorable, especially this year after losing two great shows. You the fans have a lot to look forward to and your shows need you now more than ever. The soap fans are the greatest and we'll see you again soon."

Did anyone notice that Anita is the old Daisy Duke from Dukes of Hazzard? Sorry if someone already pointed that out.

Victor turns on the charm to get Genevieve on his side. He gets a call from Nikki who confronts him about Anita, he says its not a conversation to have on the phone
Nikki takes Anita out for lunch, well the lunch is an excuse to confront her. Anita tries to lie through her teeth about visiting Victor but Nikki just sees right through her
Billy and Victoria visit Jack, tell him about Anita and Chelsea. Billy realizes that Chelsea is starting to become attached to her baby, that could break her from Anita

Next - Avery tells Phyllis their father is dying ; More Victor charming Genevieve ; Anita wants Billy to be with Chelsea

Did anyone else think Cane looked particularly hot at his wedding?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Always hot! he's the first soap star since the original Malcom I've thought was very good looking.

Why are Chelsea and Anita always in Victoria ad Billy's house? I thought they lived in an apartment over the garage. Jenna seemed to have plenty of space when she lived there.

I know!!! And they don't even knock or announce themselves - just wander around!

Liz

I think that is odd as well--their wandering around the house. Although Anita definitely comes off as very entitled to everything.... "oh by the way, I ordered some Pay Per View"....
