When planning this trip I always think.... what am I going to eat? For me I feel like it completes and vacation experience. I have plenty of meals planned both at table service and counter service eateries. I did chose my ADRs from many recommendations, but paying out of pocket really makes you think.....do I really want to eat there, just because someone likes it or hates that place. I chose realistically I know some restaurants if popular are gonna be crowded if it's a character meal it's gonna be noisy. I subscribe to a Disney food porn thread best thing I did for planning my ADRs. If it looked great and got good reviews that's where I made a reservation. Now plans change all the time, for this trip I planned on four table service because I don't want to take too much time away from the park itself. I still have to make a counter service post, we have like 20 for both of us, it's a lot of food!
First table service coral reef- this is a late dinner reservation for 8:30, my husband actually picked this one. He loved the theme and the eating underwater part. I am a diehard seafood fan and there menu looks delicious.
Next up is T Rex at downtown Disney, again I know this is gonna be very crowded but we actually passed by t Rex in may(we visited seaworld,Busch gardens, aquatica). We have 10pm reservations, we are very excited and want to experience the meteor show. This is our MK day and it closes early at 7pm, so this ressie doesn't interfere with park hours.
I was thinking of Sci Fi for our dhs day but cancelled due to just one day here and wanting to do all the rides.
Thursday we are in MK all day including EMH and
MVMCP have a nice lunch planned at Liberty( that gooey toffee dessert got me)
Friday we have Ohanna planned, everything looked so good and we got a prefect time during wishes. I picked this because it comes highly recommend, the trade off probably crowded and noisy but I know it will be magical and that bread pudding looks great.
Of course I would have liked to visit a million different places and eat everywhere but there is always next time!!
The best site that I have found after reading the food reviews here of course is thedisneyfoodblog, they have emails and pod cast, I love the way there site is set up, such as 5 best snacks, 10 best QS,
