Hey all!!

GP, sounds good to me. When's this dinner? I only have experience with what my church dinners are....like tonight is pork roast, gravy either rice or potatoes, some veggie, maybe a salad or coleslaw, and some dessert...Kinda BORING!!

I am feeling so much better. I have the pills with me in case I need them. I didn't realize that there are A LOT of people with this! AND the best news yet...I was so worried that we were going to have to pay for our taxes because we cashed out my profit sharing and a dean witter account, but WE ARENT!! We are getting money back!! Yay!!

Oh, Jeannie, I forgot...loved the pinata and the pin the tail.

GP, if I were you for that dinner I would have a vegetarian main course too. Not sure what it would be, but I always think it is wise to have a chicken, beef & veggie dinner for all.

I am terrible with sides, but a rice dish usually always goes well.

For desserts, is it possible to have pastries from "all over the world"? Like cream puffs, tiramasu, tortes, baklava... and then maybe add in some custard/pudding type desserts? That might go over well. Not sure though, just my thoughts.

Do you have any rolls of sort on the list as well?

Saw this and thought of you guys

Moose Poop Cookies

Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup choped walnuts
2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:
Mix all together, drop by 1/4 cup portions on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.

GP--PM on it's way to you as well. I got an international bread/cookie cookbook for Christmas. I will be HAPPY to peruse for you. The only thing is that it seems to have been written with the UK or Australia in mind, we might need Nutsy to do some translating of ingredients.

What do you have in mind? Cookies? Sweet Breads (NOT to be confused with sweetbreads)

Elaine--heckuva day at work for me too! I'm ready for a lull. It's a continuous source of amazement to me that I am so busy to the point of being crazed, when my company is the slowest it has been in the 11 years I have been there.

Jodie, woohoo on the 25...I've been kinds skeered to work out, so I haven't been but I'm giving myself this week to recover, now that I know what is wrong with me! Next week I start back up again.

Laura, yes I LOVE survivor. I think Jeannie and Sherry do to. However, Jennifer (when and if she ever comes around--missing ya, girlfriend!) MIGHT limit the survivor talk. We'll have to make sure Kim posts her Apolo pictures to distract her!

Well, I sent all my stuff of to the county and the state for my temporary certificate. Now I guess it is just a waiting game!!
