Ya'll wouldn't have known me!! You would've been so proud!! I was the most restrained female in the stands. I behaved like a perfect lady.

Oh Jeannie....as far as a picture of the ham shanks. I probably managed to get one or two... between Tom and I, we took 23 rolls of film. LOL!!

Hmmm... I dunno Jeannie... that pic is still looks mighty nice to me!!

We had a zoom lens, but I didn't have it... Tom did. He actually took more than I did! Missed one absolutely excellent photo opp. during a warm up session. He was the only one on the ice... he slows down, skates to the center of the track, turns his back to the stands, bends over to adjust his skate, and approx. 20-25 women rushed to the edge of the track with cameras in hand and start snapping away. ....and you know... now that I think about it, he stayed there, bent over, adjusting that skate for the looooongest time. I told Tom he should've run to the other end of the track and gotten a wide shot of Apolo bent over w/ all the women and their cameras trained on him. Tom said he couldn't because he was too busy taking pictures himself for me.


Whew... I am in serious need of a ketchup!! I have noooo idea whatcha'll are talkin' about!!

Um... only 23 rolls? What happened? Did you leave the other camera at home? Glad to hear you had a good trip. Hey, I saw some of the speedskating over the weekend and I thought I was hearing something. Then I listened closer & turned up the TV. Sure enough, there was a lone female voice starting a chant, then joined by other female voices. It sounded to me like the chant was, "We want ham shanks!" Somehow I have a feeling we'll get to see Apolo's grace once the film is developed.

G'night Jeannie, Pam and Jay! Talk to everybody in the morning. Going to try to compose something that resembles a ketchup now since I'm so "amped" up on coffee there's no way I'll be able to get to bed for at least a couple of hours.

Pam, the more I thought about the whole incident, the funnier it got. He stayed there long enough for me to.... Okay yeah, so I took a picture or two too....so sue me! finish off a roll of film (only 2 or 3 left...I swear!!!!) then walk up to my seat two rows up in the stands, sit down, dig out another roll of film, load the camera and get back down there, and the guy was still bent over playing with the skate! LOL!! A Kodak moment indeed.

Jay, you big liar. It doesn't even air until next Saturday... the 15th... NBC... check your local listings.

My Tuesday starts off with funeral ya'll. A friend's Dad. It was a blessing really...the poor man has really suffered...but it's never easy for those left behind. He was one of my Girl Scout's grandfathers....she is being very brave. She came to a GS outing we had yesterday and she said she was going to the funeral home last night to say goodbye to her Gramps. She had written a note to tuck into his pocket. No need for Kleenex this early in the morning so I won't tell ya'll what it said but she read it ot me....to see if I thought it was "ok". OK? Perfect. Hard to be the big strong grownup sometimes ya know? Sigh.....enough of that.
