Elaine....

I am going in on Tuesday for bloodwork.

....you will not be there alone.

:)

Your 'what if's'....and your fears....are trivial in comparison of the power and strenght that your higher power likely has in mind for you. Take your own advice....do not project....have faith...and believe in the power of all the good folks who are..and will..have YOU in their prayers...as well as the knowledge and expectation that you're Lord's not done with you here in your mission of contribution.....smile...laugh....and rejoy in the love of life....and I firmly believe you will be fine :):)

{{{HUGS TO YOU ELAINE}}}}

Well....I second these thoughts Deb!:)

Michele....the tech will see your MRI right away but is not allowed to tell you anything. Know that if there is a problem your MRI will be read right away by the radiologist...who will then call your doctor. Sooooo....no news is good news!!!! Sleep well tonight! We will all be with you in that machine tomorrow,

Michele, I'll do my best to "let go" if you do... I am not the best at it, but I will try. As for your question, I would just ask your doctors. I do think it takes a few hours for them to be able to look them over and let you know but that was how it happened for the last person I knew so you might have it happen differently. Just ask to see what they think. You have my prayers {{hugs}}

Laura, your mom does sound like a truly wise person :)

GP, you are a sweetie... I will remember all you said.

I really have to say you all area great people!!! You really are great and I am so glad you all are around :)

Michelle....other of your sistas are vastly more qualified to answer your question than I....

I can tell you...that the techinicians who perform the MIR are not suppose to discuss it with you....that a qualifed phyician is supposed to review it...and then your attending doc...should talk with you....at least...that's how I think it works...and I stand willing to be corrected....

the older I get the smarter my Mom seems to me

So true Laura....I guess we have that to look forward to!

THAT IS TRUE....and you should remember that....you DO have that to look forward to! :):):)

Gotta say goodnight you awesome people you. I love each and every one of you and if I could I would wipe all of your worries away like magic!!! But ya know...our friendship is "magic"....so I guess we are a pretty magical bunch!!!!
I hope ya all sleep well and feel cradled in His all powerful hands tonight. See ya'll in the morning.

That is what I thought.

Thank you all. You really have been a great comfort to me tonight. Elaine, I am letting go and now you have to also!

GP, I am really glad you are around...:)

Not a good day on the yaya cruise boat is it?;)

I really have to say you all area great people!!! You really are great and I am so glad you all are around

I only have one thing to say to this: Amen, sistah!

DD is taking the death of her teacher in stride, we have known for quite a while that the teacher had cystic fibrosis. It was a miracle that she lived as long as she did. She was a true light, and will be missed. She was 43. (My age)

The former coworker was a shock as I had not seen her in a while and did not know she was sick. Evidently, she had leukemia. She was only 42 and left behind two grown children and a 11 year old daughter. It was one of those things that makes you wonder why bad things happen to good people, but you have to have faith, and Jodie is right that God only gives you what you can handle.

My nephew, I talked to tonight. He is not gung ho, but not afraid either. He is proud to be part of the Army, and knew what he was getting into when he signed up. Any prayers for his safety will be appreciated, as well as prayers for all our service men and women.

Michele, keep the faith. It could be something as simple as migraine headaches, which can cause all kinds of funky symptoms. Don't borrow trouble, count your chickens before they hatch, etc... ((((hugs)))) girlfriend, you know we're all here if you need us.

Baby Yaya, PM on the way.

Michele... letting go... I hope it all goes well for you tomorrow!

{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}} for Michele and Elaine. GP speaks the truth ladies. Ever hear the song "On Eagle's Wings"?

"And He will raise you up on eagle's wings, bear you on the breath of God, make you to shine like the sun and hold you in the palm of His hand "
Know that you both are in my special thoughts and prayers.

Oh, Bonnie......{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} for you too, dear. So much sadness and pain to deal with. More special prayers being said for you and yours. Sorry the boss is being such a nudge.....sounds like she's diggin' her own grave, though.

Laura, isn't it weird how smart our parents get as we get older?!! Glad to see the tag fairy made you official, at last!

Well, the snow has started and the prediction for our area is 3"-6" by morning. Groan......I'm getting tired of having to clean off the car and then dodging all the idiots who think having a 4-wheel drive means they can go fast in this stuff! They have and cause more accidents......YEESH!!!!!

Good-night, sweet friends. Sleep well and sweet dreams.

I have to thank you and Jodie, Beth for taking our latest snowstorm. We were expecting 2-4" and so far it isn't happening. It must have heard Jodie's kids were wearing their pj's inside out and headed in your direction.

I am so sick of snow! Florida here I come!

I am reading sadness, and fears and illness here. (did NOT read all 600+ posts) {{{Hugs}}} everyone! :D

I am tired of the snow too!!! I wish that it would stop! We are supposed to get about 2-5 inches of snow over the next day or so. We just got rid of most of it, it should have all stayed away

Beth... I love that song. I'll sing that one to myself between now and Tuesday :)

I am reading sadness, and fears and illness here.

...Awwww....but Donna.....there's ALOT MORE strenght, happiness, joy and support! :):):)

but...Thank You for your group HUG! :):):)

Naaaah Goofy...I didn't mean it that way. I meant, or I was thinking at least, that so many people are suffering. I saw lots of warmth and support in response. I was just offering my own support. Sorry...hope I didn't offend. :)

I was just offering my own support. Sorry...hope I didn't offend.

LOL! Oh Donna.....I didn't mean to imply that anyone could have taken your comment to be offensive....quite the opposite! :):)

Your love and support showed thur clearly...and we all appreicate you!!! :sunny: :):):)

You all make me smile... I am heading off to bed now. Good night all :)

Before I try to ketchup a little...

Michele and Elaine

Huge {{{HUGS}}} to both of you. Lots of love here to help get you through your tests.
