So happy the Yankees won! What a great game last night. Matsui was amazing! Tomorrow is my birthday so it will be a great day with the Parade in NYC to celebrate the World Champs!!!

I agree rgf207. To me, a team that has the budget they do and can pay the money they can to stack their team with the best players in the world leaves me a bit cold when they win. I do live in "Yankee country" but am not a huge baseball fan.

Here's another fact - The Yankees are the only team in the league that actually PAY The luxury tax (I believe it was over $26 Million last year)
Without that money many of the teams without the funds would fold.
