Lily, congrats to your nephew on the approval! I remember my brother was scared to death to do his. But honeslty don't remember what he wound up doing His problem though, was his scout leader made it so he almost couldn't become an Eagle Scout (due to age). I guess wouldn't let him do everything needed and he squeezed getting in just before he turned 19.

Okay all you wrappers, who is going to do my bunch of gifts???

The runner up for last time was a Spa... we figured we'd need relaxation after the Yurt life I guess

Nancy, I'll stay up with you tonight, but I guess you have a party to go to instead... but I woudl have! Just being at work at 7 doesn't allow me to stay up too late too often.

Morning all!

Took 1/2 day off yesterday and hit the mall. Must say I didn't get much accomplished but, it was nice just taking in the sights and sounds! I was very disappointed in the size of the YC store here. Had a really great store in Ga. Most of the Hallmark stores here carry more YC than what was in the store. I couldn't resist a Christmas Cookie YC! After all, got this cute little Christmas votive w/candle free with purchase, perfect for a teacher's gift!

Quick post before I wake up the last 2 DS's for school.

Bingo was a blast. My youngest walked away with the most money!
I was pretty much wiped out. Only one Bingo once.

5 hours of wrapping? Holy cow! I'm not looking forward to doing my wrapping.

Gotta do groceries today...what fun.

Mmmm....Cranberry Chutney. I love that. I was burning that one all day yesterday.

hey ya yayay's!

Between school, Disney store, Jarrod and Matilda I have not been able to do much dising!! Oh I did jump in the pregnant celebrity fracas only because single by choice mom's were being put down. Anyway, glad everyone seems to be doing well ( I have been lurking), glad all are back and had a good time.

I too, recieved my confetti filled card!! I laughed out loud and the cursed the dern things as I cleaned them up!!

OH and YC Cranberry Chutney candle is one of the only scents that does not make me sick to my stomache right now. It seems Matilda is not happy with anything that has a strong scent...especially air freshners or cleaning supplies!! ugh!

I'm working all weekend for the mouse and trying to finish my christmas shopping so I probably won't be around much. So have fun and get lots done!!

Tara, I saw your post on that thread... I can't believe the thoughts of some of them. My friend, Marc, is going to be a single dad if he is fortunate enough so I see nothing wrong with it. I was glad to see your post!

I have to do the grocery shopping thing myself today.

RM, I have to go quite aways to get to a "real" YC store.
The closer craft store has a fairly large selection though......and Hallmark has some scents that the store doesn't, so at least there is something.

Tara...hope you aren't overdoing. Take some time to rest and enjoy the season and the kiddos.

I hope you find a bigger YC store to go to Rose Mary! Ours isn't too bad here! And our Hallmarks and a few others carry quite a few as well. Not to mention the outlet store within about a 30 minute drive for me! I am lucky I guess
