Kristy, I didn't want to see LOTR at all, but DH talked me into watching it with him and the boys and I LOVED it.

Talked to my friend tonight and her, her DH & their 3 boys are going to hang out here on NYE and spend the night. The boys are thrilled and can't wait for next week to get here. LOL

just want to also share my yummy recipe for chcolate martini's so we could have several pictures ready for the spa:

1 Part Vanilla Vodka (Stoli preffered)
1 Part Baily's
1 Part Godiva Chocolate Liquer

Mix over ice, drain into a chilled martini glass and enjoy!!!!!

Hi all

made it back from San Diego. Had a good time made it down to the shore in time for the sunset. Took some pictures(wish I knew how to post them). Found a mall and did some shopping Doctor was really nice. wants more test. they always do so I guess I will be going back

yes...this was my first visit with him..he will be running my next test..I have to stay up allll night long before the test. I hope I get to sleep during the test or else I will be one cranky person.

believe me.....there's tons of stuff wrong with me I'm the one that will pass out when people start talking about medical stuff for bring a needle near me....so alot of the action films make me very very very sick. Overall LOTR just bored me to death.
Haven't actually watched POTC yet....gonna rent it next week and at least give it a try.


Feeling pretty icky at the moment...just hit me about an hour ago...coughing quite a bit and tummy is hurting.

NYE...hmm..I have only really celebrated NYE full out with the party thing and as far as I can remember, a good time was had by all!!
this year we will follow our tradition (3 years in a row, must be a tradition by now!) We go to this wonderful Japanese steak house where they cook the food in front of you!! mmmmm! Jarrod likes it too and when we pass it he says "that's where the man cooks and you see fire!" He actually eats the shrimp and scallops or lobster if mom has lobster!

I think we have finally figured out what is keeping me feeling so icky with Matilda. Today at lunch I started shaking uncontrollably (it had been less than 3 hours since breakfast so it wasn't that long ago.) So my mom, the type 2 diabetic, pulled our her testing kit and tested my blood. It was 59. If you know blood sugar it should be between 80 and 120 for perfection and good is 70 to 140. So mine was below the lowest they like you to be. I had a heck of time eating with my hand shaking so badly, looked like someone with parkinsons disease! After I ate and waited another hour it had finally gone up to 136. So I've been testing it all day and it has not returned to over 100. It's normal but I think the problems with feeling icky for the last month or so has to be the blood sugar. I go in on Wednesday for my 2nd appt. so I'm going to talk to him about it and see what he says. In the meantime I'm checking my blood about every two hours so I can get an idea of what it is averaging. But I tell you what the shaking was more than I can handle. I did it on Saturday at the Disney Store but I just equated it to the fact that I was exhausted and really dizzy. Okay, nuff whining!

No nap today, had to go buy the food for Thursday dinner. We are going to Merchant Square in Williamsburg tomorrow. Primarily to eat!! hehehe Jarrod is going to school and then his father's house so we have the whole day. So I will check in tomorrow night!! I expect to be in the spa when I get back. Oh and my vote for next summer is the YaYa Maternity Ward!!!!

Sherry...yeah I don't want to deal with gestational diabetes, but if I have to I can get used to sticking myself and watching it. I wonder if low blood sugar causes large babies too. That might explain why everyone is telling me I look like I'm having twins! ugh!

The low blood sugar could be it. My SIL has Type 2 diabetes and my nephew was 9 lbs. when he was born. The dr. said if she were to get pregnant again, the baby would be even bigger than my nephew was.
