I had the most wonderful Mothers Day! The weather was great. I went early for a 3 mile walk/jog. In our lovely city, I saw a fox, and a great blue heron, along with listening to the birds singing and the little critters motivating. There were some neighbors who were out so very early too. It was such magic. then , I came back and did 20 minutes of Pilates as a cool down/stretch made the coffee and everyone was just starting to get up.
Took Mom to church then to lunch--we had ice cream for lunch!

We have never done anything like that before. Then DH and I went for a bike ride on this beautiful day. We rode in our favorite place. DSs remembered it was Mothers Day! DH Ted made the dinner and it was great then he took my Mom for--yes, ice cream! (He didn't know that was our lunch--it was our girls secret). Well, before we left we had to tell him. He insisted we had to go anyway as it was part of "the plan." Who are we to upset "the plan?"

It was a fun day. We've been relaxing.

Ethan! Oh my! Tara, I hope all is ok there. PD that he is going to settle so you have some time yet.
I didn't get to read that thread. I think I'm glad I didn't.
Karen, glad you are home safe and sound and that you had a great visit. Sorry about your meds.
RM glad you had a great beach day.
Jeannie, Hi there!
Liz, thanks for sharing the communications. I am enjoying hearing about them. Hope you are in a "good place" now for your mother's arrival. It sort of sounds as if she may keep your mind off the upcoming events...just by keeping you stressed out a bit.
Dave, Hope your visit is good. Have fun in the World too!
Happy Birthday to Junior!
Later everyone...
