I have been reading, just not posting as time has not been on my side!! I also have a bit of bad news to share about the Chicago meet.....I am gonna have to be at a wedding reception on Saturday night....... But I will be there Friday through Saturday afternoon sometime and back again Sunday morning!! As far as transportation is concerned back from the city on Saturday night....Todd or Sherry, will you have room for one or two more?..... I hope this doesn't pose a problem....Greg commited us to this wedding today.......and the head count was being called in after work....so I hope you all understand!! I am looking forward to meeting you all soon!!!

Been SLAMMED with a nasty computer virus...fixed and glad to be back.

Don't know where everyone is Nancy...Sherry may be getting her last fix of steamy soap scenes before the FCC clamps down on'em. No more Ryan bacon for all to see, Sher.

So here's our news for the day...Derek's group at work was notified that they will no longer be doing their current job b/c that function of the company will cease to exist...therefore in the next month or two they are being rolled up into another group with no idea of what they will be doing. Also the company is going to lay off 4K people this month. And to top that off...he went to the doctor on Wednesday for his yearly physical...doctor called him today to say that he has Mono.

Love to all....time for the sandman to visit me!

Had to return the movie as half way through it stopped playing."Something's Gotta Give" -- Mom really enjoyed that. DH said that this movie is up there with his all time favs...so I bought it for him.

Liz, I know that the others will be sorry you can't be with them the whole time...maybe ya can take everyone with you to the wedding?

We've been going through some of our own stresses here too. DH job is going through some major maneuverings. All are under a great deal of stress and when it shakes out, not many will be happy and upper management doesn't have any concern as some managers have tried to make suggestions that wouldn't be any cost, just morale keeping.

It is kind of scary what I see bc of all the really bad stuff going on in our nation and this rearranging could have much bigger rippling effects. I really hope management is on this part at least. Oh well, 'nuff of my downisms.

The sun is here even if it is just for a short while. I'm going to grab my coffee and look at it, fill the bird feeder and enjoy for a while before all start getting up and underfoot.

Hi, all.

Back from Florida, and have about twenty pages to read through and ketchup. I do, however, have a lot of cleaning to do before the babysitter gets here. Ed worked on a bunch of painting while I was gone, but not a stitch of cleaning!

I brought back the coolest pillow from WDW...the front looks like a vintage postcard...Greetings from Disney. It breaks up all the creaminess of the couches, but Kevin seems to think it is his personal pillow!

Got a couple of sickies here, and Neil had a new medication added. The doctor gave Ed samples that don't have any information in them, so I needed to surf last night to see if I could give him cough medicine with them. I needed to make sure it wasn't an SSRI or MOAI. Fun.

Hope everyone is well, the last page I read was somewhere around 35!

Liz, no worries about Chicago! I knwo they have a great shuttle to the airport from the hotel so I can always rely on that... so if you cant' make it back, that's all good!

Jeannie, I am sorry about the computer... I know that can mak it rough! I think this post here might also make the one you were hinting at! Oh and nice flowers in your sig. Those are similar to the colors my friend is having at the wedding!

Had a fun time at the anniversary party last night. The food was wonderful, and we danced and had a great time all night. Didn't get home until 1:30, though. So, I slept till almost 11 this morning.

Had a good day with the boys home yesterday. Now the other 2 want a day off, since they chose to go to school.

Liz, hope we get to Chicago in time to see you before you have to leave. We have room in our van, as well, if need be.

Todd, enjoy your movies. They are all good ones. I love Maid In Manhattan. I've seen it about 100 times. LOL

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. He's been lucky and made it through 4 layoffs...so we're praying that they'll make it through the 5th. Re: the mono....he should be fine. The doctor basically said there's nothing she can prescribe for it...and to just make sure to rest and take it easy. I hope I don't have it...haven't felt terrible so we'll see.

Lily sorry to hear that your husband is going through job pains as well. You'll be in our prayers!

Todd...how are those movies??? I rented Lion King 1 1/2, Mona Lisa Smile, Johnny English, and the two Hamlet versions yesterday. Haven't watched any of them yet.
