ps. everything is good with Ethan he is the right size, I've add the right amount of weight, and all is well. Tomorrow makes 24 weeks!! yippeee!! I'm over half way there!!

Yay Tara glad to hear all is well with the baby yaya and mom!

Elaine-You have never had MY MOM's corned beef and cabbage, it's the best. My mom is Irish (from Co. Kerry) and you are right they don't eat alot of meat period there but, you can definitely count on cabbage and potatoes at almost every meal. My dad was Italian hence, the reason I could never do the no carb diet. I was raised on too many potatoes and lotsa pasta !

Nancy-Hope you are enjoying visit w/your daughter and PD and good thoughts for your DH and his dr. appt.

The reason it took so long is that it has never been loaded here. At school she only has to add patches (some 3 hours ) every so often. Here all the patches had to be added.
Now do I delete it after she leaves?

No word from DH yet. I have no idea how long the appointment is going to take.

Rose Mary, I admit I am not too terribly fond of cabbage... it doesn't sit well with me Corned beef can be okay but only with potatoes. Not sure where in Ireland my family was from but they laugh because cabbage wasn't big and neither was meat in all the recipes that were handed down. Gotta find the cookbook from my family that my grandmother has to see what they had.

Elaine-Let me know when you find that family cookbook. I would love to hear some of the recipes and what part of Ireland your ancestors came from. I went many, many years back and stayed on the farm my mom grew up on.

Clay will be on American Idol tonight I don't know what to do. Survivor starts at 7 as well as the apprentice. American Idol at 7:30. Wish I knew how to tape one while watching the other

Rosemary I am also Italian and Irish. We probably grew eating the same foods. Have always wanted to go to Ireland. My Mother has been and tells me it is beautiful

Rose Mary, I will let you know what I find. I am afraid though that it is already "taken" since my grandmother temporarily moved out... we have some moochers in my family I'll check when she's having a good day though

We can go back that far with my dad's side... if I wanted to, I could find out tons about everything they had and all that in Germany I am a huge mix of things though so I can't go far back on many.

Whoo-hoo!!! Amanda, I had such fun putting all that together for you and your family! I just think that when there are little ones in the house, it's so hard for just mom or dad to be getting something in the exchange, so I try to include them. I just hope the girls haven't figured out how to tie people up with the jump ropes yet!! Hope Todd likes his bunny, too!! And if you allow yourself an egg a day, you can almost make them last till Easter, right?!

I ordered something for my exchangee last Monday - and it never arrived - went and did a package tracking and they said it was delivered last Thursday - to North Jackson, Ohio. I emailed the company and said that was fabulous except I live in PENNA! They emailed me back to day and said they sent me a new item - so Airborne Express lost the first order....

Thanks for the concern everyone.....not too much to report on the DH saga.
New doctor, so almost like starting over again.
He has to go get an ultra sound and some more tests.....definitely surgery ...but not sure when. Hopefully soon, so we can get it over with.
Good news is that this doctor thinks the growth is what is affecting the vocal chord....so if the surgery goes well, the chord should be working again.

We're going to the movie tomorrow....so my basket exchange will be going into the mail and will be arriving a few days later.
It was fun to put together and I hope the person receiving enjoys it
