pssst Kristy Tara's baby is Ethan....Evan is mine I wont be around on the 17th either, its our anniversary (5 this year) and I believe we are going to do something that weekend--or atleast Saturday to celebrate.
Last night on USA they showed the first 10 minutes of Dawn of the Dead--I like scary movies so I watched it. Looks like its going to be pretty gory. I saw the first one about 20 years ago, it was pretty scary. Okay off to get Michael up!

Grrr! Almost every school around us cancelled, but ours. And of course, it is heavily snowing now and is supposed to get worse.

Some of what I would do have designs and some of it doesn't. I used to solely work with beads. The wire looks more fun, but is harder to make shapes with. Some of what I did was not designed, but thrown together... so I bet Mandy would do great working with me

Deena, I wish I could watch scary movies... but especially at night I wind up not sleeping if I see them

Sherry we are very hit and miss with teh school closings today here. The surrounding cities where I work are closed but where I live is open. There seems no real set of rules as to what gets closed where I live.

Oh good... someone else who didn't think my peeves were too much I know someone here does one of my other driving peeves so I try to be careful when I say things

Dropping in for a quick while the boss is "down the hall". No snow, here, luckily! Nice and dreary with rain, though. Hush it, Liz!! Lainey, same pet peeves with the drivers around here!! No headlights in the rain is another.

Making ressies for other boss to go to Pensacola--he WOULD want to stay in the hotel on the beach. Just looking at the pix on the website makes me grumpy!!! Too much and blue sky when we are stuck with the drearies here.

Oh you hit on another of my pet peeves with driving, Bethie! I hate it when others don't have lights on when it is raining... especially if it is a very dark and dreary day! I admit, I don't like it when people drive with their regular headlights on and fog lights as well. It is just really bright and harder to have to see than the new blue headlights. There I said it and now I can have others who do it tell me they do it and stick their tongue out at me

Bethie, we need to get planning a warm trip so we aren't so grumpy!!!

Oh lordy! I had a "mall date" yesterday with FI (that's fiance oooh! THanks a LOT Elaine! Now I am hooked on those wedding sites you listed on another thread...oh, I am truly good-for-nothing lately! ) ...we don't really live near "malls" so the drive out there and soaking up the atmosphere makes for a novel date for us! ANyway... bought a HUGE GUMBALL from one of these machines...HUUUUGE! Popped the whole thing in and then wandered into a bookstore and before i could quash that thing down, the salesgirl HAD to come and ask me if I needed assistance..."Ywwaah..wharr areg gyour grdening Books?" Very graceful. Reminds me of another pet peeve of mine...maybe I'll start a thread...

Hey! Where IS everybody? Ya'll snowed in?! I saw the national weather on the news and it looks downright nasty all across Ohio, Pa, New York and beyond!! I am sooooooo thankful we only got rain and I'm right with ya, Sherry--sooooooooo ready for spring!

My exchange basket went out via UPS yesterday and I wanted to let my exchangee know that I am very sorry I forgot to put a note inside! I was so proud of myself for getting it all done so quickly that I had the darn thing all packed up and addressed and out of here before I remembered! So I'm letting you know here that I had a great time shopping for ya and not to worry, I only went a teensy-weensy bit overboard. Wanted to make sure there was something for each of you!! Enjoy!!
