shep is watching the girls while I go away this weekend. It is my Mom and Dad's first ever time away. Mom's company raised money for her to go to Graceland, Mom can afford it but is very tight with her money. It will not be for fun, unless some miracle takes place. My sister that is going doesn't spend a lot of time with my parents and has a tendency to be-little them, she is very sarcastic. I will probably end of mediating the weekend. I tried to get out of this trip from the beginning by telling them to take my other sister, I was vetoed

I am not on a diet, but a life long eating change. I posted previously about going to a nutritionist. I went and am now on her plan. I am finding it very difficult to eat 6 times a day when you are out with someone who only eats 3 times a day and usually not anything good from them, this isn't just DH I take snacks along, but the restaurants are a killer if you go fast food.

As for my job....what can I say, God is going to have to take care of this part of my life.

These things are minor compared to what others have going on in there life. This too shall pass.

{{HUGS}} Amanda. Sorry your sister is like that. That must be very hard on you. I hope the trip turns out OK. I saw your poston the WISH board too. They know how hard you are trying with your changes in your eating patterns, so I cannot understand why they would not make more of an effort to accomodate you needs. Take all of us with you in your thoughts and know that we will be thinking of you also. I hope you can manage to have some fun on this trip.

The diabetes management class I had last week also suggested 3 meals with a mid morning and mid afternoon snack. I am also working toward a life long eating change. My DH is like Shep....he would never handle a lot of smaller meals.

I'm sorry, I am not sure what is going on with you job. Whatever it is, prayers that it gets better and doesn't cause you a lot of stress.

Hey you guys.....did I tell you I booked the Wynham Palms Resort and Country Club for our September trip to WDW for...............................89.90 a night for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite? Jacuzzi tub in the "master" bedroom.........I've got dibs! Full kitchen, dining area, living room, fireplace and private balcony or patio. I am ready!

Well, I gave the teen Ya Ya a piece of toast and two tylenol and she went upstairs and came down dressed. So she is off to school. But I will not be surprised if I get a call later today.
