Just got back from takeing Steve to airport. His car wouldn't get up driveway. SUV always makes it. Roads are really bad. We have a little over an inch but they are expecting 3" by noon. On the ride home (while I was searching for gas at 5 in the morning) I heard that our schools are closed.

SNOW DAY!!!!!

I still feel crummy so I am going back to bed.

Glad to hear Kim went to the doctor.

Just got in from shoveling. Blech! I actually only did a path down the drive for the boys to get to the school bus! LOL DH can do the rest when he wakes up.

Supposed to get more snow today. Hopefully it will pass us.

I need to ketchup on all the posting y'all did, but I did see, Karen, that you liked your tape. I think I'm gonna go out and get it. I need something else to do besides the treadmill.

Morning everyone. Okay, I won't really complain about the cold weather here (26 degrees) but can I complain if we get freezing rain/sleet later today? We usually get a storm or two like that this time of year & today may be the day. Thank goodness I don't have to drive in it.

Morning, everyone! Sorry I was MIA yesterday--I promised myself that I could DIS as soon as I finished some of my RL work. Unfortunately, I never got finished. Got all wrapped up in a bookkeeping mess and never got any of my domestic stuff done. Ever have days when you just can't seem to get caught up?? Gad, I hate that!!

Sounds like we have another YA YA meet shaping up for WDW in December!!! Elaine is planning a trip around the same time we will be there with Carol & Roland and Karen is going to try to talk her DH into a little weekend getaway too! Michele, you can buzz on over, either with or without the family, since you're local, can't you? Whooo-Hoooo!!!!! I smell a PAR-TAY!!!!

Nancy...WDW will ship any purchases for you...they wrap, box, the works and I think they will ship anywhere. Does Carol just want to ship purchases from Disney?

Beth...don't ya hate it when the snow gets mucky and dirty?? Eww! I hate to ask this but are they calling for more of the "S" word here on Wed.?? That was "the word" at the bus stop this morning! SPRING!!!!! I WANT SPRING!!!!

No Jennifer...winter cannot last forever!!! Did anybody read "A Rose is a Rose " yesterday? I laughed and thought of each of you!! Pasquale climbed up on his guardian angel's shoulders (after his angel had transformed himself into "Super Angel") and the angel said "Look at the view from up here...see..there's green grass and singing birds. Spring is just down the road a little ways!" So climb on your angel's shoulders Jennifer...the view is refreshing!!!

Hello everybody. I am still not feeling 100% but I am so glad I can be at home and go to bed whenever I feel the need rather than be at school and feeling miserable. Somebody up there loves me.

DS has shoveled the driveway and sidewalk and is now working on cleaning his room. He can't be outdone by DD. Of course DD is still working on her laundry. She basically moved all the clothes from her bedroom floor to the livingroom floor but they are in laundry piles. You can't imagine how many clothes that girl has.

Well, off to get drink some more tea. Now I have a cough from drainage and need to keep my throat coated with something wet.

Well I weighed in today. I lost 7.5 pounds!!!!!! Jodie I was right that half pound gain was water retention from too much sodium.

Beth I cant wait for the get together in December. That will be just too Kewl!!!

Hi all... not a great way to start the week here. We got hit with more snow last night but was only in a Level 1 snow emergency so we all went to work. Well Luis was hit by another car. She apparently was going like 5 mph (he was going 20) and switched lanes w/o looking and signaling. By the time Luis saw her, he tried to switch lanes and she clipped him. I can't believe we have to go through this again At least his car is totally drivable so the insurance companies can battle it out and see who "pays" Not a great way to start the day.

The only good news is that I went and looked at car rentals for WDW in December and I found a car for $99/week. I'll keep looking but I booked it just in case. I guess I need to look at hotel and air now just in case. Although it seems to have gone up instead of down there. But it looks like I am slowly getting plans. I possibly won't book hotel until AP rates come out. Or if Bonnie wants to join me, we can do the Swan together for that nice rate for nurses

So Beth, Carol, Karen & Michele (maybe) I am looking forward to seeing y'all then. Right now I still hope for the 1st through the 7th.

Betty, sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit yucky! I hope you are 100% better soon!!!

Yes, Carol wants to mail her Christmas presents to people in the states from here. Will save her time...and money.

I know they ship things you buy there.....I've done that
But she wants to know about things she brings over with her.
I've found a little information....but any input will help her decide.
They will not have transprtation other than Disney.....so offsite doesn't help.
