The WOO's thoughts on being a Magic Key holder

That's really not a vlog, it's more of a video chronicle of the random thoughts in his head....

  • Where he got sunglasses from
  • Look at these pretty water fountains
  • I camped out on these concrete floors for an event in the past
  • Re-stated all his points 6 to 7 different times
  • If Tampa Bay Rays advance in playoffs, he's hoping to go to playoff games
  • Plus who in the world makes a random thought about popping into Disneyland late night only to ride Mr. Toad???
If this would truly be a vlog, he could have made all this points in less then 5 minutes without all those random thoughts in his head. Some people might like that but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

Exactly. One reason why I can no longer watch his vlogs. He goes on and on and on. He knew or should have known the rules before purchasing the AP. If he didn’t do his homework then shame on him. I thought that Florida was more of his home now so maybe he should go back to WDW if it’s that much better in his eyes. I will stick with DL. There are only a couple of the YouTube vloggers that I can watch now for the DL parks.

It seems to me that this is a "locals are taking over the parks" kind of issue that Disney may be trying to get a handle on with these policies. I don't think they want people showing up for a couple of hours, or cancelling, on a whim. I think that was pretty clear when they released the terms prior to purchase, but I guess folks like Woo didn't think it through very much. I understand why it would be a bummer to those who are used to it, but it isn't called an AP for a reason.

Yeah he's one of those vloggers who likes to make things overly dramatic as possible.
It's more like Adam clarifies each thought in his sentence. Not drama, just wordy. I have a friend who does that.

Kenny's complaint that he can't cancel 'same day'
Who is Kenny? Kenny the Pirate?

Yeah, I don't watch these for that reason, I need this distilled down to 1-2 essential sentences. If I wanted to listen to someone talk and talk with no end... I can ask my daughter to explain Roblox or something, lol.
It's all about the journey with some vloggers like Adam:) I love his videos, but he's not for everyone.

I can tell KittyKitty gets him.

Adam the Woo is one of my favorite Youtubers. You guys should all go watch his video series from earlier this year when he went on a road trip with his dad. When he and his dad are together, they are total goof balls and you can tell that his parents are genuinely really nice people. Or the one where he visited Forrest Gump filming locations. Adam has done lots of "road trip through small town America" types of videos over the years...some of my favorite moments are where he stops, rolls down the window, and talks to cows. There's truly some really hilarious stuff there, none of it scripted or anything, all off the cuff :rotfl2: .

I like his style too, although I can understand he's not for everyone. I think some might mistake his videos as "Disney News/Updates!!"- but it's not that type at all. It's more of his personal reflection on trips and day to day life.

For those local in SoCal it's kind of similar (although less politically correct) to Huell Howser's old show on PBS. He could spend 20 minutes talking about how green grass is in front of a house, but you could learn a lot about local areas and traditions. I'm not comparing accomplishments of the two, just the general style of long, drawn out, slow talking videos.

Adam did bring up some great points about Magic Key vs. previous Annual Pass program. Many locals really use the park as a fun hang out spot to relax after work, or spur of the moment trip. I don't think Disney corp liked that so the reservation system really changed things. Admittingly I was also caught up in the 'buy it now' hype when MK went on sale.... somewhat doubtful I'd be so eager after really thinking about it now.

RIP Huell =( I loved his show California’s Gold, it aired throughout the state.

Yeah I don’t like the journey…well I do personally, but I’m trying to cut back on screen time and spending 26 minutes watching someone else hold a meeting that could have been an email is too much for me.

Kudos if you have the time to spare, though. I miss those days.

25 mins. No, thanks. And, I’m a weekly visitor with my new key and pretty darn happy about it. I’ve already made my money back with all the discounts I’ve gotten on merch and food. 🤪😂

I've already come close as well! I've got 5 visits under my belt already and will hit 12 by mid November. My pass was activated Sept 2. So, no complaints here!

Agree that the Dream Magic Key will pay for itself near or after the 6th visit for us, when I include all the food and merch savings per trip. We like to buy legacy lightsabers every time we visit:)
