Hi guys - so sorry the thread is a bit late today - life gets in the way sometimes and haven't sat down today :goodvibes

The loss for this week is 16.5lbs which is a fantastic loss again

The grand total now is 148.5lbs - which is now 2 stroppy 10 year olds or one lovely lady

I have yet to weigh in but have bought a pair of fit flops www.fitflops.com which are going to tone me in places that haven't been toned for a long time :rotfl:

Have a great week - get out and do some walking - takes your mind off eating :lmao:

Sorry everybody -- I'm up a 1/2 lb this week. I really don't know why as I did everything I was supposed to do. Geez, I even went above and beyond by marching in a parade behind my son's middle school band pulling a huge cooler full of water in almost 90 degree heat (and that was in addition to my regular 5mi walk everyday!). :(

I better have some fantastic results next week or I am going to be M-A-D !!!

I've been really doing horribly at eating better. Need to get back into the swing of things.:sad2:

I twisted my knee something fierce, so my walking routine will be on hiatus for a few days. Getting old sucks... My advice for the younger generation, don't get old.

Finally more than my typical one pound. Now I am at 10 pounds off. :woohoo: I have to pick up the exercise. My husband step mom passed away and we have been running around and eating bad. Hopefully I will get back to my regular routine soon. Hang in there everyone!!

Yay.. 3lbs down this week.... I had a so-so week last week.. ate pretty good all week, but the weekend kills me:eek: every time. I managed to run 2 miles in 25 mins yesterday... this week I'm adding back my Kickboxing and I'm on week 7 of Couch to 5K so that means 3 days of running for 25 mins straight... I'm also all stocked up on veggies and good food:cool1: so I will get off the last 3 pounds to get me back to my "Pre Disney" weight:lmao: of 2 weeks ago.
Great job everyone on the losses... remember, don't let gains of small amounts get you down.. who knows what could be affecting that... TOM or time that you're weighing (I can loose 1 pound in the shower:rotfl: ) so just shurg it off and keep eating well... you can do it!!!:cheer2:

Just saw this article on Yahoo! and thought I would share it with my fellow Wonders. http://health.yahoo.com/experts/eatthis/5027/americas-unhealthiest-drinks-exposed/

"The Unhealthiest Drink in America
Baskin Robbin’s Large Heath Bar Shake (32 oz)
2,310 calories
266 g sugar
108 g fat (64 g saturated)

Let's look at America's Worst Drink in numbers:

73: The number of ingredients that go into this milkshake.
66: The number of teaspoons of sugar this drink contains.
11: The number of Heath Bars you would have to eat to equal the number of calories found in one Baskin Robbins Large Heath Bar Shake.
8-12: The average number of minutes it takes to consume this drink.
240: The number of minutes you’d need to spend on a treadmill burning it off, running at a moderate pace."

Thankfully I have never had this shake!!! (And who needs 32 oz. of a shake?!?!? That is practically Big Gulp size.)

True confessions - I went on a bologna and cheese sandwich with potato chips binge this weekend and I feared the worst. But I didn't gain any weight this week. It'a a Miracle!!! :cool1: I am back on the band wagon now and determined to get back into the swing of things. Lean Cuisine Pizza here I come!!!!

I am entitled to a nervous breakdown this week- trust me when I say we are having a family crisis. I am boycotting the scale this week and until I don't have bigger issues to worry about. Sorry, but that is the reality of my world right now. I will be cheering everyone on, and will be back when and if my world stops spinning out of control.

I am still no change. I have hit a plateau. Crap. Although this is still good news since DH & DD plotted a DQ ice cream cake form my birthday last week. DD has done a healthy eating program at school and has discovered spinach salad can be good if you put fruit in it. She is helping me & inspiring me. We walk back and forth to school as a rule and she is very good about joining me in my DVD workout.

I have my eating back on track & need to get out and walk - if it would only warm up - my co-worker lives just a little north of me and had snow on Monday morning. It has been just above freezing lately so I am not getting out there.

I need to get out there as I am taking part in the Relay for Life for the Cancer Society in mid-June. We have a team at work, and have to keep someone on the track from 7 pm to 7 am. I am working nights with 2 others that night & we have permission to take turns going out to join the team on the track.

Tonight is taco salad & fruit kabobs for dessert - that should help!

Boycott the scale and maybe try walking to clear your head & regain control if you can.
