It DOES sound like the lifeguards were on a power trip. You don't just make up rules as you go along. I would not only refrin from bying, but write a big long, nasty letter letting Disney know exactly WHY they were not getting my tens of thousands of dollars.

Sorry you didn't like the train. I ave never been to DL, so I have very little to say, other than, it sounds like you had fun, except for the mini-melt-down.

Glad you got your burger.

Those lifeguards suck. The thing that irritated me most was that all I had to do was talk to them and they gave in. If you have rules, fine, we'll all live by them. But the power tripping had gone overboard. It was different life guards each day and they were all the same. The reason they kept giving in was they didnt want me to go to the supervisor. Otherwise, I'm sure they would have stood their ground.

I still think it has something to do with laws in California but I must say, the Orlando lifeguards are MUCH better. A lot more friendly and loved being around kids. The California LG's were a surley lot that liked to flash a little b00b while belittling children. I only had issues with the latter.


As far as the next chapter all I can say is I was recovering from the Mexican Flu bug and needed lots of rest.

And as a side note, Trey's special education teacher just won an award for being an excellent teacher!!! We are so thrilled for her-and she so deserves this award!!!

Buzz having a little hissy fit at lunchtime sounds familiar. I think these things happen to most families at one point in their trip. You handled great Lin. I would have snapped back, making it worse.

I like the update Lin. I also liked the way you handled Buzz. It always helps to make someone laugh, unlike DM and her paddle to stir with. I usually end up doing a little stirring too, tho. Sometimes it is just plain fun to try to push those buttons.

Buzz sounds like Biff. I just leave him there and walk away. I am not like you though I try not to be nice, give me grief you will get it back in truck loads. Biff knows this first hand.
