I am starting to get excited for our first VWL stay.

We got back from Villas a couple of weeks ago. It is so quiet and peaceful in there.

TOMORROW!!!! I'll be there tomorrow, in about 24 hours we'll be half way there. Our flight leaves at 7:35am cst tomorrow morning and arrives at 11:15am est. So excited, it's going to hard to concentrate at work today.

Does anyone know how long it will take (approx) to get to the Lodge from the airport on the ME? We have a reservation at WLV ; our flight arrives at 9am.

They say it could take up two hours from the time you land to the time you check in, but normally it is a little faster than that.

We made it! The honeymoon suite is amazing, the club level staff has all been friendly. Haven't been to any parks yet but will tomorrow. There is some construction being done next to the bar area at the main pool, otherwise I haven't noticed anymore construction.

ETA: We are on the Magic Kingdom side and can see the spires(sp?) of Space Mountain, so might be able to see the fireworks tonight.

Just got back today and had a wonderful stay at WL! We booked a standard rooms and were sprinkled with some courtyard pixie dust. We starting talking to the cast member about how we loved the water pageant and she started looking at other rooms that were available and she ended up giving us the most awesome room ever! Room is 5168 and it is at the end on the lodge closest to the lake. You have a 180 degree view of the lake and you can also see the fireworks over BLT. The sunrises right over the lake. In my opinion, best room ever!

We could see the top of the fireworks but there was a tree in the way. I don't know what they are doing in the construction area.

Sounds like and awesome room. I've wanted to stay down on the end of the south wing, but never had the chance. Of course last time I got a Bear-Faced room which was incredible and I will be spoiled for life!

that is a sweet upgrade. We got bumped from a std to a savanna room in akl once but yours sounds awesome!. I would just love to get back to wl. We're moderate except on special occasions! Someday though.
